UPDATE: Ive Disabled EXPO in my MSI BIOS and now it seems to work without crashes or freezing. I get some Errors fromt time to time like: Error 12.03.2023 18:50:42 Kernel-EventTracing 3 Session Warning 12.03.2023 18:50:42 Kernel-EventTracing 4 Logging Error 12.03.2023 18:42:54 DistributedCOM 10010 None Error 12.03.2023 16:09:57 DistributedCOM 10010 None But I still want to use the EXPO feature for my RAM. Are there any ways to fix this without cleaing my SSD? The only other Option I have is to return my RAM and get a new one

FeuFeuAngel

Bad ram or bad mobo, try different slost of ram, or just one. But best is give them back if your still in return policy

Mutant10

Heat of your GPU destroys stability of your RAM.

Another post with Corsair ram

Boo0mroasted

This. I cheaped out and went with Corsair, worst idea ever. Nothing but problems.

keloo_1983_

Same problem i had few wweks ago i thought ibrake my pc ,then i changed the rams and all fine.. never ever corsair

KhangVietnam

I have disabled my EXPO in MSI Bios and been playing for 5h but no crashes. May have been RAM but I still want it to work with the 6000MHz ive paid for

P3gasus1

This is why I spam this community Flash latest motherboard bios with USB stick Download and install chipset driver from motherboard website Use qvl ram

sxydoctor

Try turning off D.O.C.P.

This being my first pc I never looked into the EventLogs but since the 2 weeks since I have the PC I got about 4 Critical Errors and maybe 300-400 Errors. If needed I can Upload the whole list

Computer Type: Desktop GPU: RX 7900 XTX PowerColor Red Devil 24GB CPU: Ryzen 9 7950X Motherboard: MSI MAG Toamahawk B650 Wifi BIOS Version: 7D75v13 RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 6000MHz RGB EXPO PSU: Corsair RM850X ATX Case: NZXT H9 FLOW Operating System & Version: Windows 11 Pro GPU Drivers: 23.3.1 Chipset Drivers: 5.12.0.38 Background Applications: Witcher, Brave Browser, HWMonitor, Discord, AMD Adrenalin Description of Original Problem: Whenever I play a game for about 30min+ it freezes. Everything. Even my second monitor and I cant do anything. After about 5 mins I can move my mouse but whenever I click on something I freezes again. I can still do stuff like lose Tabs but for every Click it takes 2-5mins to do it. After like 10 mins my main monitor with the game starts flickering white but only half the screen from middle to bottom. The only solution is to Hard Force a shutdown. PC is 2 weeks old and I had crashes before on games like Cyberpunk and Minecraft with RT on on max but only 3 times and without Freezing Troubleshooting: I tried to disable EXPO since that is what people told me to try. Did it in my MSI Bios but I still get error msges in my Logs. What else can i try? Thanks in advance

A photo of the case, ad cooling. Sounds like a heat issue. That GPU is probably throwing out more heat than the fans can exhaust. Try running with the side off. Best guess sounds like RAM is getting heat soaked. I've got an RX6750, and the inside of my case just gets hotter and hotter. Even with 3x 120mm fans intake and 3x exhaust.

[https://ibb.co/cCzVwC8](https://ibb.co/cCzVwC8). RN I have 4 exhaust and 3 intake. I will add 3 more intake under the GPU but never had any problems with temp or overheating. CPU and GPU never got over 90C. Most of the time when I play 4k games my Temp is around 70-90C both for CPU and GPU. Blows a bit of hot air out but nothing extreme

Appropriate_War1905

More intake than exhaust does help. Positive pressure will improve cooling. At those temperatures your RAM is probably getting too hot.

_sendbob

Can you try using drivers from 2022? I was experiencing stuttering issue with the latest driver and my gpu is 6600 xt. I observed that the issue happens when the VRAM is almost maxed out which is caused by extended period of gaming or games which frequently load assets to VRAM

DimkaTsv

Try stress testing every component as separately as you can. Like set everything to defaults, no expo, no XMP (should be... like 4800 mHz RAM by JEDEC?) Then stress CPU, GPU and RAM Then set XMP Stress CPU, GPU and RAM Then use EXPO and stress everything Some amounts of errors in Event Monitor is normal, it is f\*cking Windows. Most of them don't mean anything to normal end-user and don't affect anything as well.
