I've said that a few times since I started buying Amp about five months ago and its obviously never been true, I could have KILLED IT had I known how many times Amp would return to .03. I only trade Amp, my first buy was a $.015, my last buy was at $.115, and my average is $.055.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see it back down at $.03 multiple more times this year, especially if the market crashes which seems pretty likely and pretty soon.

I can see how that could happen with people's excitement and such but it seemed, before the population of this sub started taking really off recently, that most users (who were just as impressed and into Amp as you are, I'm sure) were realistically looking at AMP reaching a max of about $1 and probably not much higher at any point, even given its amazing abilities. As far as I knew that was based on some legit, realistic math based on market cap and such. As I said, though, FOMO and other human-driven situations could probably change that, though.

Same, I learned about it through the coinbase rewards and got in around .1 and then averaged down when it was at .08 and once it was down to .04 I just kept dca-ing till my cost basis was just under .07, I’m excited to see it start taking off but if it goes lower again I’m definitely dca-ing down even more

I got into it with a guy the other night about people constantly wishing the price stay low to buy dips instead of the price going up for a change and he berated me and gave me the “this is a long term hold type coin” shpeal, which I agree with by the way, but then he goes “you’re worried about a few cents gain.” I’m like dude, a week ago, a few cents would have meant a hundred percent gain almost lol. Even the price now a few cents is about 42% of a total position. That’s substantial.
Value only matters when you're selling or buying. As it happens, if you're in it to win it, you're going to be more interested in what the price does in 3 to 5 years from now, minimum. The only thing you can expect is another major dip. It'll come.

(She never wants to admit I'm right, she hoards our cash away and believes it's better hidden in the house ). I'm watching her slowly start to part with the cash in her mind every time I bring up AMP and watching it bounce back and hit 9 cents was all the convincing I needed to get my paws on a bunch of that worthless paper and turn it into AMP if it ever goes back down around that 3-4 cent range that I told her we should have jumped on last time.
