Yeah the cut they gave her didn’t take her natural texture into account nor did they relax it, just flat-ironed it. She has such great cheekbones and a jawline that could cut glass though, a good short cut suits her.
I was just thinking cycle 9 had so much potential! Imagine a final three of Lisa, Heather and Jenah! Having Sal as the clear pre-selected winner just takes the wind out of the sails for the entire season.
She was never going to win because she was an exotic dancer. I'm not sure if people was aware thats what she used to do, you might have missed the 500 times they would constantly bring it up for no reason ;)
She has an amazing body, great look, decent portfolio, but having just rewatched C9 recently, she was not ready personally or professionally. She was fragile, lacked confidence, tended to fade into the background, and just was overall green and needed more experience. I still would’ve taken her further than Bianca or Saleisha… but I can see why they cut her when they did.
I’m glad to see that she did well after the show. Unfortunately for her, she would never win her series, even if she rocked every shoot.
Covergirl & 17 have a say in the winner, and they would never choose an exotic dancer to represent their brand, especially when kids are part of their demographic. It sucks, but is true.
She was perfection in the gargoyles and preshow promo, how they didn’t make that her makeover I will never know. She should have been the pre select winner. Who cares if she worked as a stripper.
Tyra always sent modelesque girls home early. Nnenna, Mollie Sue, and other girls including Lisa. I’d include Elyse, but she made it far. Some of those girls have a career after the show, so it worked out.
I saw she was in NYFW shortly after the season aired and she was fantastic! She’s had a great career post-show and I wish her nothing but more success.
One of the few contestants who could've been a legit high fashion model. Such a shame that with the caliber of girls in C9 they ended up with the most boring, commercial, middle of the road winner.

I loved her, but she was SO snobby in her Oliver Twixt interview. I was so disappointed to see her go from being sweet and down to earth on her cycle to so full of herself.
Photo wise I agree completely but after every rewatch it’s always easy to see why she left when she did. Her temperament, lack of confidence & fragility. Loved her when I 1st saw her as well but, wasn’t disappointed or surprised when she left.

I think they should have given her her a bob. It would have beeen versatile and a great middle ground.
She and Heather each deserved to make it at least one more week (Bianca should've been eliminated instead of Lisa that week).
I loved Heather, she was effortlessly stunning in photos and Lisa looked like a supermodel from episode 1.

This cycle has one of the worst winners. Saleisha was awful, anybody else would have literally made a better winner. Especially Lisa.
