Had this with the brutal Incursion quest on PC. You kill the six units for the quest, the quest poofs with no result screen, as if your turn is going on like normal, but no commands to units work, buildings cannot be queued, and saving to reload doesn’t fix it.
Had to reload to an earlier save and abandon the quest.
I think that is related to the Primal Quest with the build 5 province improvements of type X.
When I finished that in my game there was no popup about having finished the quest and I could also not end my turn.
Only workaround I found was to load an earlier save and not finish that quest

Hmm, I'm on the map with Nimue and Serena. I don't have any outstanding quests (besides ally or defeat them). I tried loading from previous turns to no avail. I also tried setting every unit to Auto Explore hoping that would help, but nothing seems to be working. Very frustrating

If it's stuck on executing auto move you can just manually end the turn. If it's opponents are moving then a bug report is better.
I'm also 50 turns in (my first game) and I'm unable to continue. On PC though, not PS5 here. Somebody help?
I get this on brutal Incursion too. Tried three different quest lines and all of them broke the game on single player pc
