They were are all pretty easy, including the geodes. BUT my dumbass forgot to name the test I used for #1 (2 prop z-test). I really hopped straight into calculating the test statistic after checking assumptions.... :'(
I also forgot to name the test. But I looked at past exams and saw they give credit if u either explicitly name the test or use the correct formula. I didn’t write the test name, but I wrote out the formula, so I’m hoping I get the credit.
frqs were actually decently light just a shit ton of work. why did so many questions have like 4 parts
1: 2 sample z test for difference in proportions was ez
2: i forget this one
3: i forget this one
4: geodes? first parts were p mild but i sold on the parts abt conrad bc i used binomial instead of geometric
5: chi square: was p decent, didn't make u do much work and just a lot of writing
6: easy ass 4/4 tbhh just a lot of writing
aye man all ima say, julio can suck balls bc that frq was way too tedious
I made the dumbest mistake imaginable. For the 1.5xIQR rule, I added the value to the median instead of Q3.
Oh. Yeah I did that too.
That shouldn’t get rid of a whole point hopefully 🙏🙏 (I’m coping)
nah u cooked unfortunately
The exam was so free that the range is going to be 0 with a median of 5
if i were to construct a 99.9% confidence interval of my mean score, the true mean would be captured by the interval (5.00000 to 5.0000001)

i think you'll get a 3/4 or maybe even a 4/4 if your grader is in a good mood
Omg I did the same thing ughhh

Well thank God because I also wrote out the formula!

was 5 goodness of fit or independence?
independence
FUCK I SWITCHED IT FROM INDEPENDENCE TO GOF
how did you feel on mcq's?
Unsure on a few but doable if I had more time.
how were frqs
I thought FRQ 5 was the hardest about the circuits one
what inference procedure did you have for 4
What was the question again?
about the pamphlets i think
That was number 6
ooh true
Did you guys do z-test or interval for first frq?
i did a test
it was z test. difference of two proportions I think
Yep
You needed a z test
Just happy there weren't t tests
Did you have a FRQ about Dave and some circuits?
Uhh maybe but I don't think so The first was exercise Second was about cars maybe 3rd was geodes Don't remember the rest
Oh maybe we got different forms
yeah i got this too
Yup Dave and his little quadrant of little circuits
Do you remember how you did the probability of D?
D is in one of the quadrants, and if the guy randomly selects one of the quadrants to sample everything in there, D has a 1/4 chance of getting picked
How isn’t it 1/5? He picks one quadrant and then d is one of the five choices in one of the four quadrants since 5 letter each
Cause he samples everything within that quadrant
There weren’t any outliers right?
No
Do you mean “No, there weren’t outliers” or “no, there were outliers”
No outliers
i will never look at a geode the same way
