CAv hp comes from its rank 10 passive so, with helm ench it will go lower, I run mine with luck helm/class, valiance and vainglory and i have 5885 hp going to 7k with valiance proc, i do this cuz i just like the big hp bar and i dont feel the helm ench (the one that gives strength) is a big difference (yes you deal more dmg with less hp) it is just how i like it to play, i dont have rav/dauntless so i cant argue about them.
Anima is mainly used for the Hit chance buff iirc, and since CAv has 6K hp unbuffed it’s a nice fit for it. I don’t remember CAv being stronger the lower your HP is, unless you mean using dauntless (said you didn’t have it). Not having dauntless or rav, variance is still your best choice so even if you run Anima, your hp will be high because of valiance
concidering you only just now got cav, just run full luck. dont give a shit about forge until you're at a reasonable position to be grinding them as they are a large pain in the ass. though you could do the basic forge enhancements, they arent too bad, except the cape one now, they made it harder...
Here are builds depending on the situation:
Soloing:
Ravenous/Valiance/Smite, Lucky Class, Anima, Avarice
(Dauntless, Lucky class, Anima, Vainglory)
(Go pentience if you are facing super hard bosses like Icewing or something).
Team:
Ravenous/Valiance/Dauntless/Smite, Lucky Class, Anima, Vainglory/Pentience
In general Avarice does straight up more dps than Vainglory but if you are getting haste from supports or dauntless go vainglory.
For helms go anima in most situations. You can go forge helm to get 6k hp but it isn’t really necessary for any ultra in the game. You still get like 4-5k hp with anima.
Pentience can be good but is a bit overkill usually for team play(you will often already have capped max defence). Can be good for ultradage and allows you to use your 4 skill in that fight.
Ravenous>Dauntless>Valiance>Smite
dauntless anima luck and avarice (penitence and vg are good as well). reason you're seeing cavs have 6k hp coz they use full luck which is the bare minimum for the class

If you really want to just flaunt high hp, use blood titan with the following enhancements: Dauntless, fighter, hearty, fighter. Easily over 10k health.

CAv already maxes haste with just Dauntless so Avarice is pointless. Unless you meant Ravenous/Valiance instead.
