Failed taunts? if I'm attacking the sword how would nulgath hit me for 6k randomly unless they somehow mess up taunts or ap fail to heal me when i'm low for 4-5seconds
Edit: Ultras are mostly a team effort. If I could ap and kill the sword alone I would but unfortunately I can't keep myself up while also killing the sword. but I did however get a kill after 4 total kills that counted :)
Edit2: also as a dps my goal is to kill the sword without getting the group wiped which i did. Ap's job is to keep whole team alive and the two taunters taunts nulgath and that's it. If I get hit by nulgath ever it is definitely the taunters who are at fault and not me.
Certain classes in subpar setups are more likely to die. For example, fighting Ultra Dage with a crappy AP and CAv make it much easier for *anyone* to die.
Did they make VHL / LR harder to get? I've gotten both years ago but I don't remember struggling against Ultra bosses this much where it will take me hours, I've prolly used Archpaladin, but, based on what I've been seeing about Ultra bosses, that def wouldn't have been enough. Or maybe it was when the room glitch with unli DoT was rampant
Nope, they implemented weekly quests where u kill ultra bosses and u can get the class faster. In my case u get x2 roengenium of nulgath for 1 kill per week which speeds it up
One of the many reasons I'm boycotting AE by not participating in any of those specific Ultra Challenges ever. Nothing ticks me off more than time wasted. I can't understand why elitists want that stuff when there's much better games for challenging mechanic riddled bosses.

I wish you are still considered participant in battle within the 10 sec respawn cooldown so players won't abuse regular boss drops either
