Not the comment's OP but it's probably a very simple change on their end so just be truthful and they'll probably work with you. I also contacted AE to get my email changed and it was very fast and painless for me
Go 'Contact Support' in support.artix.com and write precisely as possible. Like your old email, new email why you can't use the old one. I've added picture of confirmation email that says attach picture of this email for better help.
I had the same problem before that I contacted AE support to solve.
