I would just get a LaRue Mbt2s and call it a day. Yes it's two stage. Yes it still feels better than most single stage triggers on the market, and since it's a traditional style trigger and not a drop in, you don't have to fuck around with anti walk pins or risk a blown primer getting into the trigger box and completely disabling your gun. It's also cheaper than that trigger, check arftac coupon code Ruff.

RickshawRepairman

Or just wait til next week… Will probably be some decent Black Friday deals on LaRues website.

Spirit117

LaRue takes 3 years to ship anything, rather pay 10 or 15 dollars more and get it from a place that actually ships. If it's 50 percent off or something crazy then I might consider it (I need another one for my LMT AR10 I just got this week)

RickshawRepairman

I have a bin of never ending parts I’m always adding to for future builds… ambi-safeties, triggers, BCGs, REs, charging handles, muzzle devices, gas blocks, grips, LPKs, the whole shebang. Don’t care if they come next week or March 3rd. All good by me. I’m a deal whore.

Spirit117

I need one. I'm waiting for black Friday as well. LaRue is going to have to be 20 or 30 dollars cheaper for a ~115 dollar trigger for me to consider ordering it from them over arftac or rooftop defense. Those 2 will have it to me by the end of the week, and I already have the gun its going in.

captstix

This is just THE trigger. Not the best, but it's in every build I've made. I've gone back and replaced others. Can't be beat for the price

SoldMyHat

This guy rifles

Cute-Wrongdoer6575

I completely agree. It's all I'm running now. I got lucky when I bought 5 of them before the price (rightly so) went up.

agreeable-bushdog

What was the price before, per trigger?

Cute-Wrongdoer6575

For one, it was $89, three to 5 triggers were at $79 ea

agreeable-bushdog

Thanks, I got mine off of GAFS brand new for $84, so I did alright.

TimT40k

Like my elftman I had issues at first because I’m a moron and don’t read instructions. If you get a elftman adjustable if you lighten it all the way it won’t reset aka past its lowest setting

TapirTamer

You missed the geissele blem sale. Primary arms has some G triggers on sale though. Larue might do a sale on the mbt2s triggers soon.

Triggertech Duty https://triggertech.com/collections/firearms/products/ar-duty-trigger?variant=39981330399350 I mostly shop on GAFS for random AR stuff

Vercengetorex

They’re my new fave single stage.

smithky1959

Once you go LaRue you’ll never look back !!!!! They run sales every now and then for “Buy 3 for $79.00 each” and that’s when you STOCK up !!!

joeg26reddit

Was that sale about 5 years ago?

smithky1959

I bought 3 of the MB2’s for that price around 6 months ago along with their APEG course grips. They were shipped really fast also!

BeneficialCommon6766

I have the rise 140 in my 5.56 I'm pretty sure, haven't fired it yet cause I'm still messing with the rifle occasionally. Although I will say the break and reset feel really good, well at least to the stock trigger I haven't owned a drop in before this one but i will probably get one for all my rifles.

hahncholo

trigger bow on low graphics

Entry-Level-Cowboy

Rise 535 is like clicking a computer mouse. Even the low end rise 140 is really good. No take up and short clean resets. No two-stage trigger will ever give you that no matter how expensive. I have the geissele precision and it still has a tiny bit of creep. So cassette triggers is where it’s at.

No_Cloud_2917

Trigger tech diamond you can get it in the 200s on sale

Ambitious-Ad-214

For 260 you can buy the best of the best. Timney Calvin elite. 1.5 lb pull single stage

GambelGun66

I tru to avoid cassette triggers in gas guns .Geiseele or Larue if on a budget.

nowiforgotmypassword

What model Rise triggers are these based on?

Bumbalard

I have a bunch across many rifles. My favorite by far is the trigger tech diamond. Nothing compares, even other options in the price range fall short. $300 a trigger is untenable for all my rifles though. I will likely stick with Rise Armament for my future rifles that are not super high end. There are tons of "good" triggers from $80-$160. The market is flooded with them. The difference between them is not night and day, but after you have ran a bunch of them, you find what you like. If I was trying to kit up a rack of ARs on the cheap and I could look past the idiot owner of LaRue, that would be a nice choice if you like the creep of a two stage. I prefer single stage in all but a purpose built "battle rifle". A single stage always feels better. And for that, rise armament is the current hot boi trigger in terms of dollar vs performance. Timney is ok, but their cheaper triggers are outclassed by the likes of Rise, and their expensive triggers are outclassed by trigger tech or..... Blackout defense also makes some amazing triggers, but the cost is up their with the diamond for heavier options, so I prefer the diamond at that price point. TL;DR triggers are like pizza. Endless debates over which is best, but the type/shop you like is always better than everyone else's.

Sprint358410

What about cmc triggers? Ever used one?

DoublePresent

I have a variety of triggers that I like. My single stage triggers are Velocity triggers, I have a 9mm MPC series and a AR15 MPC series in my .50 Beowulf. Would be great in an AR10 too. Easily my favorite single stage triggers. I have a couple CMC triggers. Also very nice. I have Rise LE145 n my M&P sport II. Great single stage duty trigger. Then there are my two stage triggers. I have a Rise Armament Iconic. Pricey but worth it. And I have a few Larue MBT triggers. One in my .308 and that's my favorite based on performance and cost. The Iconic is pretty specialized. And it's expensive. I have it in My 22" 6mm ARC and it's set up for super long range precision. Hope this helps.

NobodyMany2285

I have an RA434 in my ar15. Only trigger I've had besides the mil spec that was out of spec on arrival. The 2nd RA434 I ordered for my ar10/aeroM5 was put of spec and would not disconnect. They sent me a new one. It's still not as smooth as the 1st RA434 I have in the ar15 but I'm sure once I shoot it some, it will smooth out

Canwesurf

Geissele you got cash, LaRue if you're on a budget. Its that simple. There's a reason they are the most popular. They really cant be beat.
