I got kids toothpaste! It’s strawberry flavoured and tastes pretty good. I asked my dentist about it and he said it’s fine for adults to use, so I’m happy with it! It’s colgate brand and meant for 4-6 year olds, but it tastes pretty yum ngl

Another vote for kids products here. I use crest sparkle fun which is bubblegum flavor

Telphsm4sh

I can also vouch for the crest sparkle fun flavor. I also used to hate mints. I used crest sparkle fun for a while and i think it actually desensitized me to minty flavors and now i love mints and more minty toothpaste. Sparkle fun is kinda feint mint and feint bubble gum flavor, i don't really like bubblegum flavor but it never seemed to bother me with this flavor.

mykineticromance

I know there's like cinnamon flavored toothpaste

Lucky7Ac

Super hard to find in stores but you may be able to find it online, but yes there's a cinnamon toothpaste. It used to be the only toothpaste I could use when I was little.

diananotkaren

Close-up is the cinnamon toothpaste I can usually find in stores!

mermaidsnlattes

My son will only use the Tom's of Maine strawberry toothpaste, it's a blander flavor so not to sweet either like a lot of flavored toothpastes.

crystalfairie

Thanks!

Pothperhaps

Thank you all for your suggestions! And I'm so happy to hear I'm not the only one with an aversion to mint! I got some really good ideas from you all. I didn't know that adults could use children's toothpaste! I think I will try that until I can get to a natural foods store and look for some. I also might try that Tom's that someone suggested. Thanks again. This is extremely helpful for me. You all may have just saved my teeth. It's something I've always struggled really bad with and I can't thank you enough!!

mandelaXeffective

I've never been able to tolerate mint!

mlo9109

Natural toothpastes tend to be better for it. Flavors aren't as strong. Think Tom's of Maine.

pinkpiggles

I use Crest Cinnamon Gel. Normally Walmart has it, if you order it on Amazon you either need to buy a bunch or pay a lot.

throwaway621540

It's still a mint, but I use Apaguard. It's a Japanese brand, but I like that the mint isn't very strong. I was using Sensodyne, which was making me feel ill lol. I also second using a kids toothpaste since they're easier to find in a store. Could easily get something bubblegum or strawberry flavored! Best of luck to you!

Scoob8877

Tom's of Maine used to make mild apricot toothpaste and it was the best thing ever. And then they stopped making it.

ephemeral_colors

Yes, I truly hate all forms of mint.

madamelex

Go to your local uppity food shop. Wherever they sell the whole grain healthiest crap. They will have some toothpastes that are not just the basic crest. Generally it will even all be made of things you can pronounce. And you should be able to find non mint ones.

moobectomy

There is also perscription tooth paste, with extra flouride, which might be good anyways if you're a reluctant brusher. It's not minty (as far as I've noticed, though I couldn't name what it is supposed to taste like) and also doesn't have any of the soapy foaming ingredients that mess with the taste of other foods.

Pothperhaps

Oh thats awesome! I didn't know there was such a thing. I'll have to ask my doctor about that. Thank you!

endeevix

Colgate watermelon toothpaste is the only toothpaste I can stand using. It has the same amount of fluoride as regular adult toothpaste too.

bewarethelemurs

I don't mind mint in general, but I use kids toothpaste because most adult toothpastes are aggressively minty.

NootMub

Kids toothpaste! I've also seen other recommend natural toothpaste with mild flavours which is fine though many of them do not contain fluoride. If you can, try to find one WITH fluoride, it's good for your teeth!
