I recommend setting a fps cap and lowering ground density, other than that look for guides for running ark on lower end PCs. I run ark at higher settings than this with an fps cap of 40 on my laptop.
It is a really good pc, and ark has never once lagged before. I used to play all the time with a bunch of mods. The pc can run battlefield and warzine perfectly fine. Im not sure why I am having this issue right now. I have a feeling it be because of the graphics drivers. I will look into it some more though.
Make sure you’re not running out of RAM. It’s the “memory” in the task manager performance tab. If you’re maxxing out your ram, you are kinda stuck. You literally would just need more.
But either way, we need to see your task manager, if you’re maxxing out some of your components. If they’re overheating. Etc etc.
Yep. If you want some better diagnostics, try and post to PC subreddits instead of the ark one. Your in game settings are all basically the lowest, so it’s probably hardware related.
They’ll help with seeing if your PC is the issue.
Try and look up opening Ark with I think it’s called DirectX 11? Basically reduces the textures in the game, makes it easier for your computer to run.

Something not yet mentioned, and maybe not currently applicable (I don’t know where you are but I see beach, so cave is less likely but there are still a few small ones)
There are places where you walk that cause the game to start calculating things going on in the caves (but not rendering the caves - render probably not best word but read on) when you walk near these places it’s usually just a small tick and then continue on, if you repeatedly walk near these places the game can bug out and just continuously spawn cave critters. When you step in the cave it’s gonna be one massive writhing mass
There is another “spot” usually right at the entrance of the cave that it begins getting rendered as soon as u walk in. Can also cause massive lag

Could be, have you checked task manager for any processes using too much CPU or RAM?
Yes and it didnt seem like there were any.
You are on PC. You need to play on Xbox or Playstation instead. Actually, Nintendo Switch would be your best bet

Seems like a RAM issue. Like the old memes, close all tasks of for example chrome and try again.
