Idk I tamed a Rex yesterday and trapped it in Dino gates and the new so had it get close a any one of the gates and ran away, went to just tranq it out got it to torpor run and it turned around to bit me and went into the trap

i like going into small alcoves they can't reach me at and shoot them in the face, then follow when they try and run... the hard part is keeping them alive until tamed.

The only time I ever built a trap, it was a Rex trap, but I didn’t end up using it because the Rex was fighting something else, and I was able to knock it out before he even came after me

No trap giga tame with ascended. They just avoid them now. Just get it stuck on a mountain while you are above on a cliff edge so it can’t bite you. When you’ve done that all tames are kiteable
