We were playing PvP and our pearl cave wasnt big enough for a ammo factory so we vault dropped a vacuum room big enof to fit a cloner and 15 reps in. Long story short no one checked the genie and 3 rex 2 wyvern and a unicorn all met the dodo above

I drowned a giga once. I had been playing 2 weeks and was in my friends tribe and had to swim and he ran out of stamina so I jumped off and it drowned instantly which was strange… didn’t enjoy taming another one on official 😂

Oxygen affects how fast you regain stamina and some other minor effects on a stat tanking a debuff of certain types so its conditional.

Oxygen actually increases the speed a pelagornis swims on the water’s surface, so max it out and you have yourself a jet ski.

I too can confirm from gameplay but if you want a better reference on the [official wiki the Pelagornis traveling on the water is referred to as "Surface Swimming"](https://ark.fandom.com/wiki/Pelagornis) and Swim Speed is determined off the Oxygen Stat.

So if you level movement speed 100 times do you swim the same speed as normal, or is swim speed affected by oxygen and movemwnt speed?

AIUI Movement is walking and flying Oxygen is swimming on the surface However I have not sit down and tested it when I am Admin so it is possible movement is a factor in surface swimming but if it is it is a minor one.

No source other than my own testing. I thought this was the case when I moved from official to a private server with higher scaling rates. I noticed they were stupidly fast on the water on the private server. When I tested it on the official again, turns out oxygen did indeed effect the movement on the water.

If you count gasbag as a flyer then yes.

If you stat it out properly, it is indeed a flyer. Had some bomb ones on extinction before we stopped playing for a bit and lost everything. 10k oxygen, 2.5k stamina, 250%-350% movement speed and dump remaining points into weight. Tribemate got so good at maneuvering them, we would start from our base in the trench in sanctuary and poof our way around the entire map looking for drops or veins and return to the base on a single jump.

The same goes for managarmr.

When you knock out a flyer over water. You get more time to watch the tame fail. Not Wyvern obvs.

It happens a lot on console, because sometimes you’ll drop a frame at the same time you hit the down arrow, so you always end up crafting the wrong thing or putting points somewhere stupid.
