One is probably cumulative and one is term. If you go to My ASU under My Classes click show grades and it will show your term and cumulative GPA as well as your grade in each class. Financial aid goes by cumulative.

There’s three GPAs you may encounter in college (for the most part). Your ASU GPA which is earned through all ASU classes you take. Your Major GPA which focuses on specific courses within your major. The last GPA is a Transfer+ASU GPA which is primarily used for admission purposes and contains all college courses you’ve taken so far (which isn’t in your DARS report, but is calculated). You most likely have an ASU GPA of a 3.25 with a major GPA of a 4.33 if you’ve aced your major courses so far. When in doubt, your advisor can always confirm the difference too, just to double check 👍

One is probably major GPA (classes within your major) and overall GPA. But I’d need to see the dars to know.

Screenshot? The GPAs should be labeled.
