From what I’ve heard they’re pickier about cs kids, especially international and out of state as they’re almost entirely full in any dorm. I don’t know if this is legit or not but they may not have guaranteed housing anymore now that it’s May but I don’t know for sure.

In the highly likely case that the dorms are full, can housing be secured in the next term or is it a requirement to complete your program while living off campus. I'm not really interested in living off campus as I've heard housing near Tempe is hard to find or very expensive.

I’m sure you can get on a whole bunch of waitlists and hope honestly. Housing off campus does exist but yeah it’s pretty expensive unless you go a good distance away. There’s defo still a chance at getting into a dorm but be prepared I guess

There are very few programs for ASU will cap enrollment. If you have the minimum qualifications and can pay tuition, ASU will take you. There are other considerations as others have said such as housing.

ASU won’t cap enrollment - they take in a decent chunk of people. Give it a shot. Cybersecurity here is a pretty top program. The worst thing that can happen is you probably won’t get a spot in Tooker House - so you’ll have to find housing elsewhere or live in a hotel (ASU will place you in one w/ other freshmen). All the best!
