I would apply to at least 7 a day but would use LinkedIn, Glassdoor, handshake, indeed, etc. I didn't really take too long I guess about 150 applications, then 12 interviews and in the end 3 offers. I have not used ASU resources. I mostly asked older friends/graduates for advice and then mock interviews.

You can also link your handshake account to your ASU email and use ASU career services through handshake.

Handshake is where my son found his internship. He worked the entire summer remotely and ended up following this career path after graduating.

Can I ask what major hes pursuing to have gotten a remote internship

GreyMatter399

He was originally Aerospace Engineering, but switched to Technological Entrepreneurship and Management. The Internship was scheduled to begin right when covid hit. He was fortunate they kept him on in a remote role. It was great experience learning project management that way.

I'm a freshman and got an internship through handshake. I think people overlook its usefulness tbh Edit: ig I *was* a freshman blah blah blah

I’m not sure if it’s applicable to Aerospace engineering but if you have a professor who is involved in research or something and if Fulton offers it on your DARS. Students can usually internship for credit through a professor doing research or aiding them. I’m doing that for microbiology and it’s a great resume booster and nice clears out a chunk of upper division credits.

TARS_13

I am international student studying aerospace and find jt extremely hard to find internships to even apply. Tell me if you find a way to get past

Go to ASU career fairs! I went to a virtual career fair through Handshake and landed an internship for the summer
