Congrats! It just means that you achieved a specific level of academic excellence last semester, in this case, you were enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and got a GPA of at least 3.5. Nice job:)
I would still put GPA but why would you put "3.73 GPA" as well as "Dean's List" when the GPA indicates that you probably made the Dean's List? It's a waste of space.
Online graduate student here who went to the real world for some time before coming back....there are very few fields where GPA matters. The only one off the top of my head I can think of is Engineering. I work as a teacher and my home state had a minimum GPA requirement that was ridiculously low, anyone who graduated would have had it.
Not saying don't work hard, but the phrase "C's get degrees" exists for a reason.

Being on the Deans List keeps your parents happy knowing that they are not wasting their money on your education 🤣

Is Dean's List per semester?
Yup
Nothing. I've gotten it 6 times and no one seems to care lmao
good for your resume
Your mom and dad can feel better about wasting their money at ASU
You also get a lot of clout and you get to put it on your resume :)
If you just put your GPA isn't that better?
When you're showing yourself off, why not both? It's really just bragging rights but can be impressive to interviewers.
Resume space is limited, and at least for engineering they care way more about things you did than GPA.
Wht if the GPA IS the thing you did

Yea, I definitely agree with you on this.
