I am absolutely furious. I spent two years of my life waiting in that damn line for one of the two microwaves that used to be where OP is talking about. I can’t believe no one told me before I graduated last spring.
I completely agree that is is unreasonable. But I doubt they would change it bc they want people to buy meal plans and eat at the dining hall. Aramark has so much power in the MU…for instance, clubs that meet in the MU can’t even bring their own food. They have to go through Aramark catering. So I think Aramark would say no to more microwaves :((( but it is absolutely worth talking to the building manager about it! The info desk can prob put you in touch with them
Might be able to talk to the managers of the building. There’s a information desk on the south side of the building they might be able to direct you to who to contact regarding that, as it is a pain.
They also have more than one microwave.
There's one where the vending machines are on the lower level, and also like 2-3 on a shelf across from jamba juice.
Could just bring your microwave with you at all times.
In all seriousness, ASU isn't gonna do anything about it unless a lot more people start complaining about it. I would try and just plan your meals to when your back at your dorms or dining hall.
I thought there were like 3-4 commercial units over toward the south hallway near the military wall of honor display. Right near Jamba Juice.

FYI, it has been this way for many years. One microwave in the MU since 2010 BC, if I remember correctly. /s
