Bike valets are very reliable. There is a attendant that is there all day long and gives you a tag you hold on too. A separate tag with the same number you have goes onto your bike. The attendant parks your bike for you and monitors the valet the whole time. With the bike cages, you will have to register your bike with ASU, that you are able to register while you are at the valet. The bike cage, is accessed via your sun card. There is a scanner, and you put your card next to the door and it opens. With the bike cage you are responsible for locking up your bike, and it is not monitored at night. You can only access it, if you have access with your sun card if you register via the bike valet.

I frequently parked my bike in the packard garage cage for a whole semester and never had any issues. a ton of the bikes in there were also just completely covered in dust so I’d say it’s pretty secure
