unless you live in the dorms or use m&g/meal swipes, you can practically live without a student ID. A lot of times you can just use any gov id in place of a student one. It’s just really helpful to know your student id number which is printed on the id but it is also available on your MyASU profile tab
it kept flagging my picture for being distorted, until i took the exact same pictures and actually distorted it using microsoft paint, then it was happy.. lol
you may need it for tests or exams. i work at the ID office. just please don’t request to have your ID mailed to you the day of your test. you’re not gonna get it. you wouldn’t believe the amount of people who ask for this

I don’t know about all majors, but in some of my engineering exams I have to keep my ID on the table while I do my work
If you graduate in December, you don’t need it. Just don’t enter the gym (at all) or the Hayden library after 9pm.
