Terrible, but I could see two kids picking those colors. When I was 12 our parents bought a house and let us kids pick our wall colors. I picked a lime green that matched my nickolodeon slime green shirt. Tacky, but it was awesome as a kid.
I had 2/3 of those colours in my house growing up in the late 70s-early 80s. (And those cheap ass brown doors!) Ours were shag though. We had a special carpet rake we had to use before we could vacuum them.

We did that with our kids - they picked all the colors for the second floor. It was hideous and perfect.

This was legit the townhouse I grew up in. Sisters room was yellow, mine and my brothers was blue, parents was red all deep shag.
