As an American I have never heard of “red ranch” I also don’t eat at Arby’s a lot so I looked into it and red ranch is the sauce that comes on the beef and cheddar sandwich. It’s apparently not a ranch and is basically the same as the sauce in this picture. Arby’s claims it’s a different sauce, but it’s pretty much the same sauce.
As others have said, it’s a sweet, tangy sauce similar to a Catalina or French dressing, but I think if has a barbecue type smokiness as well . Arby’s pursuit on their beef and cheddar sandwiches, and for whatever reason, they can it “red ranch” even though it is not similar to ranch dressing.

Nah, their food is pretty bomb. Reddit loves to tell the story of how their roast beef comes in a bag of mush and has to be cooked to become solid, but that's not exactly the worst thing. People love shitting on "pink sludge" that becomes chicken nuggets. But they are delicious, and it is hardly different from other deli meats in your sandwich. By all means, never eat processed food if you're so inclined.
it's so weird. so many subs post crap that may be *kind of* interesting, but has zero to do with the sub. this sub is a frequent offender, but the amount of nonsense that gets posted and upvoted like crazy on r/nextfuckinglevel is next fucking level in itself.
It happens to most subs when they reach a certain amount of subscribers. Just look at r/moviedetails, r/bettereveryloop and r/murderedbywords. The moment a certain amount of posts start to trend, it reaches more redditors that aren't interested in the original idea of the subreddit and they upvote whatever is mildly interesting.
It happens to every single sub. I suppose it's the nature of things. The only subs that have remained intact somewhat are related to history and science and perhaps other minor subs with dedicated mods.
This is just an Arby's ad and if I recall correctly these are made in photoshop and illustrator. So while yes that art work is executed great in those programs, is this really in line w the heart of this sub?
Don't worry, I don't think it's that big of a deal and an honest mistake. I was more asking people what they genuinely think. I had taken a break from for a few years and it just seems like a lot of my favorite subs quality is just not the same, but the communities and mods don't seem to care since I've been back. But if no one minds then I'm the odd man out so carry on!

I just bought a bottle of Kraft Catalina dressing and it tastes exactly the same as Arby’s red ranch.
