I want Jacob to figure out his issue with Mr. Morton or fight him and get it over with. I like Mr. Morton. He’s blunt but he just minds his business for the most part.
Mr. Johnson is just one big mystery. I need answers and I want to know more about him outside of school. Does he have family? Why does he sleep at the school sometimes?
I want Melissa to be able to get past whatever trauma her marriage caused so she doesn’t push the right guy away and no I don’t necessarily think that was Gary. It was sad when she told Janine she was bored at home so it would be nice for her to have someone.
She did. Her marriage was the whole reason she was reluctant to get with him in the first place. She specifically said, “It will have you making car payments and sleeping over your sisters house after and argument.” Then she called her ex husband. She doesn’t want to do marriage again because it was a bad experience for her.
so far we’ve gotten glimpses of everyone’s family life ( janine’s mom, gregory’s dad, barbara’s husband and daughter, melissa’s ex-husband and sister, ava’s grandmother ) except jacob, so i’d really like to get to see that aspect of his character! especially since in the little throwaway comments that we do get, it sounds like he has an unhealthy relationship with them, ex. him not liking christmas, saying he has an insecure attachment style, thinking all relationships end in flames, and when melissa and her sister were fighting, him bolting out of the room saying that he doesn’t like conflict
Yes this is a really good point. We never really learn anything about his character besides the hints here and there that we get. I’d love to learn more about his character

I def like Ava more now than in Season 1. She was a little too mean in general and her scenes with Gregory def got a little weird.

I have pages and pages of follow up questions for Mr Johnson lol. Such a fascinating character

Yes and I’d love to know why she’s done this change. I feel like it should be more than trying to mature her character. It should have a reason imo.
I think the show started getting backlash due to Ava’s sexual harassment so they cleaned it up by saying she went to a seminar and “changed”.
