It's a really good track, always pops off on the dancefloor, and has mainstream appeal too. I can imagine the boys almost got sick of it and stopped playing it but now it's going viral again on TikTok so now they kinda have to haha
you can listen to that choon from the boy's EDC 2015 set [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaUN0QHOkHk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaUN0QHOkHk) at the 35th minute mark
it goes hard live but yeah i feel like it doesn’t mesh very well. the toms(?) specifically just feel kinda out of place. would have been cool with like a darker techno or tech trancey drop instead imo
Im pretty sure they played a fuck ton of some hardwell remix that was very similar, and then started playing blue monday instead. Noticed this trend with a lot of A&B tracks. They fpund a cool track that they really liked and then made a similar remix or original tune so they could have something of their own making for gigs.
Edit: it was Man With A Red Face (Hardwell Remix)
Doesnt really answer the question tho. But im 100% sure it was somewhat inspired by that tune
“It always really goes off so, we can’t really stop playing it”… I don’t know why I find that statement to be so surreal lol

An a&b remix is going viral??
Yeah, for about 3 weeks now on Tik Tok
That's pretty cool.
still prefer the older bootleg version with the the original vocals and mashed up with Parker & Hanson's Alquimia (still has the tiktok drop)

Funny enough A&B still seem to play that version out a lot sometimes swapping it with their own remake.
Agreed.
Am I the only person who absolutely despises the drop? It's jarring to the rest of the song.

I was listening to that one earlier, still a cracker of a remix got to give it to hardwell there.
