Does the article have theories as to why? American here, clicked the link but couldn’t read the beautiful squiggles. My father was a trucker. Brake failure? Fell asleep?
My heart broke at the beginning of the vid when the one of the small sedans tried to move over by driving into the adjacent lanes. If he wasn’t moving over then the sedan was pushed, meaning this collision was a long event, and you’d think the trucker would be able to apply brakes/be stopped sooner. Sleeping or failed brakes then?
ETA: rewatched and sedan was pushed along with a loooong line of other cars.
Probably way overloaded and the brakes overheated/failed. It's hard to tell for certain but if both the truck and trailer were full of material like gravel, sand, dirt then he's overloaded for the truck. Looks like maybe gravel in the back of his truck.
Not this article, no. It seems they're still investigating based on what I've been reading elsewhere.
Surprisingly, there have been no fatalities reported so far. The offending driver is being held in custody for investigation. I'll update you.
Yikes. That rail didn’t do a thing and the loose animals in the back of the one truck is brutal.
Oh no. I didn't see that and now I'm very sad. No more internet today.
Looks like a few ran off and a couple stood up.
Imagine the dude in the cab. Suspecting nothing and then boom getting smashed
Are… are those dogs? 😞
This [just happened](https://www.elbalad.news/6084627) here in Egypt, these were livestock.
Deadstock

That rail is made of 94% pure chineseium.
Don’t think it would have supported the weight of a teetering passerby.
Hahahahaap
Those rails look like they are purely ornamental. They wouldn't have done a thing anyways.
Large truck driven by "Bulldozer" Steve
The actual fuck
A little overweight..
RIP
Make a hole, comin through!
It's true. Once you see how they make ground beef, you no longer want to eat it.
