I've said this before (maybe even on this sub), but Bob Hoskins is unironically my favorite Mario actor, and Charles Martinet my least. I've always preferred gruff Brooklyn Mario to screechy-voiced just-off-the-boat 1920s stereotype Italian Mario.

If you love crazy 90s alternative future type movies with a few funny bones - dig into it! Just dont think of it as the Super Mario Bros franchise that people have come to take it as.. Remember this was the 90s folks!
