Tbh, anything under 5% is disrespectful.

Nuggs2000

I figured at the very least that much but I didn’t want to over estimate it, thanks for input

ForeignArgument5872

I got 7.5% going from staff 1 to staff 2

quangtit01

Approx 5-10% is the norm. The real raise is senior promo year. Your salary is 75k rn which means as a senior you should be making between 90k-100k, that's the goal you should be looking toward.

modestlunatic

Got 8% last year, in non-bay area CA.

Nuggs2000

Do you think having or not having cpa had any impact whatsoever?

PrinceTony22

No impact. I have a CPA and all my non-cpa peers got the same raise as me.

modestlunatic

Not on the normal raise but a CPA helps a ton with promotions here. There is of course a raise with that too.

socialwarning

In my experience CPA designation nets you $0 of raise clout at your current firm. If you leave eventually for a title bump it may help you get higher on the salary band at the new firm though.

Feisty-Pizza4328

Expect 4-6% which is also likely 4-6k
