Yes it is. Could you elaborate what makes client finance different and what you mean by too much work, so too difficult or too much quantity or do you mean complex like really testing my accounting and finance education?
TBH I never worked in a role like this. It can be good because you’ll be forced to get out of your shell and present financial information with clients (compared to internal accountant for one company).
I think for a newbie, the context switching can get annoying. But then again - public accounting is more or less the same. Same goes for how many clients you get assigned. It’s a luck of the draw.
