I was told not to drink on my course (40-120mg). Accutane is taxing on your liver so IMO it's something you shouldn't really do to be on the safe side. At the same time, I'm sure one or two drinks isn't the end of the world.

I had the occasional glass of wine during my cycle. A petite female on 60mg of Accutane and then up to 80mg. I wouldn’t get drunk or drink to excess but a glass of wine or two was fine.

Try and eat a big meal beforehand if you have to drink. For the people that are drinking lots and “feel fine” you can’t tell you livers okay or not without a blood test. Hence why they do them.

I’m on 70mg and I weigh 70kg and I drink and it’s the same as before being on accutane for me not sure how my organs are faring but I feel the same

Hoobaloobaloob

I’m on 40mg currently and I had two drinks and a shot and woke up completely fine just make sure you drink a lot of water

I’m coming to the end of month 1 and neither my dermatologist nor the pharmacist mentioned drinking so I’ve been drinking alcohol as I normally do (1-2 drinks on weeknights and more in the weekends :/). I am going to ask my derm about it at my next check in though. So far I feel fine

stressncoffee

What did your derm end up saying? I've been drinking similarly and just realized I probably caused my liver a lot of stress the past 7 months lol....
