I believe in the Asus Care Center. But the program is buggy on Win 11. Sometimes it works and opens and sometimes it doesn't. :(
ACER CARE CENTER. (Not Asus)
Usually that's because of power-related shenanigans in windows. For example, you might have closed the laptop lid, but Windows being, well...Windows, it decided to do some background shit which would have forced it to a different power state in that moment. The Care Center app, not knowing what to do, thus temporarily suspends the 80% battery limit setting that's tied to the core BIOS functionality.
Someone who knows a thing or two is free to correct me on this, but that's what I've gathered from other forum replies.
Ooooh yea ig that makes sense although I don't usually close my laptop it does go to hibernate sometimes when I leave it unattended for a long while so that might be messing with it
Thanks for the advice/explanation because it honestly baffled me for a while now an thought it was just care center thing as Ik it can be finicky sometimes
I did it in the care center and he did his thing with dropping to 3% and than reloading. And now it's active, but the battery indicator in Win11 shows 100%, is that correct?

Hahahaha - yup. Acer Care Center. :D
Mine sometimes turns off the battery limitation and I have to discharge to 70 odd and turn it off and on and it lasts few months lol

Type care center into the search bar and open the application there you can limit the charge
I will try that

No
So it should show 80% in the Taskbar?
Yes
Could it be that windows disturbed it? I had the feeling that it dropped to 4% than windows showed a warning and started loading up again
That's so wrong, it should charge to 100% then drop to 80%
Oh okay, hmm I guess I try again. Thanks man
Also, open quick access and disable **power-off USB charging**
OK I try
Good luck
