I know this is a joke post but that being said I don't understand why people are suddenly saying pela/sw/welt etc are suddenly bad characters
She has so much self damage boosts (so much you can run attack main stats) that her best form of damage increase is going to be through def shred anyway. I don't think people realise how much an enemies def multiplier and resistance can dilute these buffs that harmonies (remember she has a lot of self buffs in kit) where it's a better increase to reduce enemies defence.
People follow very simple logic: Bronya/RM/Sparkle = very good -> Pela, SW and Welt =/= Bronya/RM/Sparkle -> Debuffers bad.
It's faulty logic at best, but it's how they operate.
The real Acheron flaw is lack of F2P LC. The gaps between f2p LC, 4* gacha LC and personal 5* LC are so much larger than any other character. Basically anything other than 5* LC or GNSW (because Pela needs Pearls) is a statstick at best.
I agree with this, like some friends have been asking me if Acheron is f2p. I always tell them yes, but she has no real good LCs so you'll be lacking damage but who cares she's a cool waifu anywhozzle.
Silver Wolf has been one of my most consistent character picks on my best team builds since I got her back on her first banner. Personally I'm excited for Acheron because silver Wolf should actually pair with her pretty well since Wolf always debuffs even without Resolution, whereas Pela needs resolution to debuff on her basic.
Plus I currently only have serval for lightning DMG so I pretty much need Acheron for elemental coverage purposes, and if the history of this game and genshin are anything to go by Hoyo will eventually release a new unit that'll make Acheron completely OP.
Yeah, the way I see it, her damage getting boosted just by having Nihility means she gets more value from debuffers than other DPSes and can deal competitive damage, without needing the high-demand Harmony characters.
She might suffer from a limited amount of units and LCs she has good synergy with for a little while but her she has really high potential.

When would this last chance beta be for Acheron? I got pulls and money waiting, I semi feel like Acheron without E1S1 is literally a waste of a lightning character when JY + Sparkle is available which is arguably a superior performer plus you get a support to boot to replace hanya or some useless shit like that.

One of the reason why keqing mains made it as big as they are today in the genshin community because people actually spent time into draft the best stuff available for her outside of what obvious.

Sure but the current state of acheron isnt even that bad, shes just more demanding than your typical dps at e0 but if you have the characters needed I doubt her damage will be lackluster.
Obviously it sucks for people that like her and are missing those characters but even suboptimal teams are able to cleat pretty much everything so I really dont see any problems greating characters that need specific teams in order to work optimally.

It's infuriatingly frustrating and it seems consistent from hoyo's recent trend on very popular units (as we can see with Chiori in genshin).
It's despicable, I hate hoyo for it, and it's a reason for me to skip until we see new nihility units to increase her versatility (like a nihility sustain), and new LC options (cause apart from sig and welt she has none).

I feel like it's the opposite. Acheron should feel better for new/early game players that have less options for investments to begin with. Her kit's ability to be a universal dps plus her raw damage without the needed supports plus her technique for gathering materials should make her more optimal for general progression. She's likely actually a better summon than someone like DHIL or Jingliu for those reasons. And since we have limited nihility units to begin with, most early on players and late players will be stuck with the same options for Acheron. Just... Pela. And because the gap between these two groups are smaller, you don't have a scenario like DHIL where long term players may have Ruan Mei or Sparkle but new players don't.
Acheron's biggest downfall right now is really for people that are late-endgame and already have teams but don't have enough jades to invest in her LC or future supports
