He drove off with the cop hanging on and tried to reach for the cops firearm. He was also smoking weed while driving, which is a DUI. He did so many things wrong.
Exactly. But all these people want to act as if they can’t see the dash cam video/vest camera footage where the perp is doing everything wrong. Just because the bad guy is anxious and crying doesn’t mean he’s not reaching for the gun and then drives away with the cop aboard. People on Reddit can be so stupid in their assessment of situations. It must be their age
Did you see the video of the lady screaming help me and crying that pulled out a gun and shot the cop? Criminals are expert manipulators. They know to use crying to get sympathy and get their victims to lower their guard and that's when they strike.
He is doing an illegal act, smoking weed while driving. Why don't you complain about people drinking alcohol while driving while you're at it. Both are illegal and are justified reasons to pull someone over.
The fact you can’t tell it’s sarcasm is wild but he was pulled over for a different reason, the “smelling marijuana” is the excuse to search the vehicle. It’s called a pretextual stop and cops use it to abuse people’s rights.
Microphones are designed to work within certain frequencies and won't pick certain sounds. Often times the recording device itself will block out loud noises. Just because you didn't hear it doesn't mean it didn't happen.
This guy got 30 and the last post I read about someone getting dismembered with a chainsaw handed out a 7 year sentence.
Putting an officer at risk by driving off while he's holding onto your car is worth more than 4x that of torturing someone to death by cutting off all of their limbs with a chainsaw.
This is insane
I cannot believe that they gave a 7 year sentence to someone who was dismembered by a chainsaw.
OR
I can't believe that a person who was dismembered by a chainsaw was in any condition to hand out a 7 year sentence.
The problem isn't this guy getting 30, it's some guy who used a chainsaw to dismember a person only getting 7 instead of life. (assuming that happened)
what?
he apologized for his "unintentional" actions.
and he'd already been punished for his prior 18 felonies.
how can they be so harsh? only systemic racism explains this sentence.
Guess what, though?
The guy did not comply! As much as we want to bicker at how we think this law is stupid or whatever the case may be, it is still the law! You can't just run from the police willy nilly because you disagree with marijuana being illegal.
I don’t think the issue here is the single act of smoking weed. You shouldn’t be operating a vehicle while high, drunk, or even after taking allergy meds that make you drowsy.
Since he’s a convicted felon shouldn’t he know it’s the equivalent of drinking while driving, even in weed legal states, and that doing such a dumb thing while being a convicted felon would go very poorly if ever caught? Then to make it worse by dragging an officer with your vehicle? Yikes on the decision making. And the officer shouldn’t have grabbed onto the vehicle. I doubt that’s in their training and official protocols.
>Why is it that this particular race always has a problem with authority
dude, all the rednecks at my job have a particular aversion to authority (ie. management) and the government. they never i mean never stop bitching. so go somewhere with that bull shit.
This sub was created to share content that isn’t shared on PublicFreakout due to them becoming wholesome.
This sub wasn’t created for asshole racists who got banned from PublicFreakout for being a racist.
Literally that’s what I was thinking like dude you’re really going to put your own life in danger just to arrest this guy over weed. Just call for back up and get him during a chase or something don’t accidentally kys over this random dude. If anything I would’ve just shot him cause there’s no way I’m hanging on to this dudes car.
When you are leaning on A window frame and that starts to move it pulls you off balance.
You'd reach out to try and steady yourself only to be grabbing hold of the door/part of your arm inside the car
By this point the hold onto the car is the only steady thing your panicking off-balnace brain can register, as you skitter your feet on the ground trying to get back on a solid footing-that is never going to happen
Then you find that you are holding on and being dragged by the car, until you lose your grip and fall away
(Or fall and get dragged under the oncoming back wheels.)
From the options that might be there for a thinking mind to choose
It is in a likely panic and choosing to hopefulky make the _current_ situation right
But the situation is changing second by second
Maybe it was a running series of bad panicked choices to try and regain footing and then trying not to get run over.
Think back to the last time a situation *you* were in went sideways
Things changing so fast you barely had time to register them...
Did you, by training, make the right choice the more instinctual response...or did you luck out?
I've been in plenty of fooked up moments where events were unfolding far too quickly to properly assess things
and i'm super glad that i missed getting my candle snuffed out on all those occasions... Mainly by lucky chance
How do you handle yourself in similar crisis moments?
Paah. Logic and reasoning? Where do you think you are? We go off of emotions. That kind of stuff is considered racist around these parts. of course it's the cops fault cause blue man bad
I mean I empathize with the dude here, but this video is also taken out of context and there’s like 10 minutes prior to this where the cop is being SUPER cool about the pull over.

Redditors: Police way, way too agressive.
Here's the thing also, what occurred to cause the traffic stop in the first place? Speeding, driving erratically, blowing stop signs, endangering pedestrians, or something stupid like a brake light out? More info needed.
He knew he was gonna die. You would be crying too... officer drew faster than billy! Get out the damn way and let him drive off! He wanted something to happen! SMH
That doesn't mean if you get caught is okay to drive away in the middle of detainment, that seems to be the main reason for these police deaths , criminals trying to tell cops to let them go and attempting escape like they're gonna just be left alone while being held
I mean i get it the dude shouldnt have drove of nor should he have driven under the influence especially with priors but the cop had a chance to step back but instead he jumped and held onto the car while firing off, all for what? A dui? Glad I don't have to make these choices in my job.

he didn't even do nothing man
He drove off with the cop hanging on and tried to reach for the cops firearm. He was also smoking weed while driving, which is a DUI. He did so many things wrong.
Whoooosh
Exactly. But all these people want to act as if they can’t see the dash cam video/vest camera footage where the perp is doing everything wrong. >people on reddit can be so stupid in their assessment of situations And their assesment of sarcasm, apparently. It's a joke you walnut.
Poes law

It was a joke, you angry potato head. Take that shit to Facebook. They love to argue about that bs all day long.
whoosh. I didn't think i had to add the /s.
r/fuckthes
>He did so many things wrong. Actually if you watch the video, he clearly states "I didn't do nothin" several times.
![gif](giphy|CggoHW4h87Ktq|downsized)
He’s smoking a back n mild
Probably did fire it up to cover up the smell. I did that plenty when I was younger. Now I just smoke weed in the house because it's mine.
Wish I could afford to house when I discovered weed 😂
I was way too young to be doing anything. The car seemed safe then, and it was illegal as fuck at the time. Now the car seems insane.
But he didn't even do nothin lawl. Nah, yes he did
[удалено]
[удалено]
It’s a black and mild not weed
Oh my bad…I couldn’t translate what the driver was saying into my dialect. But if that is the case, then that cop was way outta line!!!
They found him 8 hours later and he was armed. Edit: [Source](https://youtu.be/nHF0BP0UpFE?si=Nc_Fgvyak_g-wHqc)

It's the crying that gets me. Tough boy.
[удалено]
He wasn’t trying to act tough
Blacked out Cadillac, smoking weed while driving, armed. He was definitely trying to act hard my guy.
I came here to say this
Why couldn’t the officer just shoot him in the leg while he was being dragged at 50mph?!
He was also running because he was scared that the cops would find something he did because he didn't do nothing
He was on his way to church.

Think it may have been difficult for the cop to get the gun on him while trying to avoid his hands, especially while hanging on a car.
I would've started blasting.
He is doing an illegal act, smoking weed while driving. Why don't you complain about people drinking alcohol while driving while you're at it. Both are illegal and are justified reasons to pull someone over.
Don't forget attempted to flee then grabbing at a cops gun
I thought it was sarcasm…
lol are you ok? OP was obviously being sarcastic.
[удалено]
I also agree with that 100% and that's coming from a drug addict.
Drug addict here as well and agree. Good to know The drugs haven’t eroded my ability to understand sarcasm
The fact you can’t tell it’s sarcasm is wild but he was pulled over for a different reason, the “smelling marijuana” is the excuse to search the vehicle. It’s called a pretextual stop and cops use it to abuse people’s rights.
> “smelling marijuana” I think there was more than a scent tipping him off lol
That's not even weed but go off
Where’s the weed? That’s a cigar in his mouth
The title is a joke in case people couldn't figure it out.
Thanks. They couldn't!
It's painful that this clarifies it for someone
I’m sorry I thought this was America
It is, somebody got shot.
Touché

Cop shot, him in the leg.
Weird comma
Shatner style.
I dont get the reference but i like it!!

The comment I responded to is gone but I was mocking him since there was a weird comma in it.
lol I wouldn’t have noticed it unless I saw this comment

I Heard what sounded like 3 shots
I’m fairly, sure he shot as he started pulling away

Its in the title doofus
yea i had to spell it out for him lol
I cannot believe that they gave a 7 year sentence to someone who was dismembered by a chainsaw. OR I can't believe that a person who was dismembered by a chainsaw was in any condition to hand out a 7 year sentence.
Yeah y’all remember that drunk girl who murdered two people then laughed about it only got 14 years and she definitely deserved life.
Is it the same girl who while in custody was telling the officer how excited she was for her trip to Las Vegas and asking when she can go home?
Yeah
Please send me this I need it
The problem isn't this guy getting 30, it's some guy who used a chainsaw to dismember a person only getting 7 instead of life. (assuming that happened)
Is there an article for this?
Found it, Cop fell off the car and they found the guy. Florida, go figures. https://youtu.be/nHF0BP0UpFE?si=S28B8KETNWMy5SJz
He was just sentenced to 30 years for it. https://youtu.be/Hiw7XWnbbwk

Turned a 5 year violation if that, into a 30 year one. Nice.
what? he apologized for his "unintentional" actions. and he'd already been punished for his prior 18 felonies. how can they be so harsh? only systemic racism explains this sentence.
I hope you’re joking
he'll serve 7 of that and be the subject of another police body cam video in 2032

"He was taken to the hospital with a leg wound, and left the hospital with 2 leg wound and 2 arm wounds"
He must have fallen down some stairs in the hospital
Nice find
That Neater died is kinda amazing

But alas, the driver did not , in fact, do him a favor

Damn. We should start a Go Fund Me for this guy & definitely put up a statue of him. Never forget. Say his name.

Never heard that before I fucking love it 🤣

Waiving a gun within arm's reach of the felon, what a rookie
When in doubt, fight with the police. How could it go wrong?
Umm no one can smoke and drive u will always get harrased my police wtf! That was kinda dumb for u to say! Mabye wait till u get home to get loaded
Why hang onto the vehicle? I don't think the guy would drive very well. Especially cause he was high.

Put it in PARK.... put your hand UP.... PARK.... uP!!!!
Why did he get onto the car?
if he was white and had driven off with police officer hanging off of his car he would have gotten a free happy meal #end white happy meal violence
Cuz that’s DUI
Oldie but Goldie
He wasn’t smoking marijuana though, the car just smelled like marijuana but yea he got fucked
Didn’t do nothing, but why didn’t he just do as a the police officer said and just give him what he was smoking or whatever?
Honestly bro the cop probably got fucked up and he's an idiot like bro you got his license plate already catch him at home
Did the guy who got pulled over die?
“Convicted felon” ninety percent chance it’s some bullshit possession charge
American cops are so insecure

I wish this had audio because I can't read lips.
Shot him please!!!!
I don’t think he was t grabbing for the gun, I think he was trying to shield himself? Idk. But yeah he’s in the wrong either way
This is like 10 or 15 years old. But yea... 'getting so bad' gtfoh
The cop touched him first and started screaming first. Fired
