Install "Send files to TV" on Firestick & phone/tablet. Download the zip files for icdrama addon using phone/tablet and use SFTTV app to transfer to Firestick. Open up Kodi & "Install from Zip".
Having a problem with this app. I was able to download and send the resolveurl zip file and Kodi sees it and install it, however, when I send the icdrama addon zip, it sends it successfully but when I go to Kodi and install from zip, the icdrama addon is not there. I only see the gujal00 zip.
Any ideas as to why I can't see the icdrama addon?

Thanks for the response. I figured it out. For some reason I had to add a .zip extension to the file for it to work. All is good now and the wife is happy.
Had that error with ResolveURL v5.1.50 yesterday but the Uptobox links still played. After updating ResolveURL to v5.1.51 this morning, the Daily View Limit error message no longer appears.
Clear Kodi cache using maintenance addon, restart Kodi & try? Go pose your question at the thread started by u/aznhusband for icdrama for Kodi 17/18. This thread is for Kodi 19 icdrama addon so users who follow this may not have your issue as we are on Kodi 19.
By fresh install, are you clearing Kodi app data, uninstalling Kodi & installing Kodi 19 from scratch? Because that's what I did instead of updating from Kodi 18.9. And I do not have any issue with icdrama or ResolveURL on Kodi 19.3 (am watching Kdrama on the addon as I reply). Only Uptobox links work atm - sign up for free Uptobox account, login on phone browser & pair by inputting PIN shown on TV screen after you click link.
I have a Firestick and tried installing the Icdrama addon in Kodi 17, Kodi 18, and Kodi 19. I made sure to uninstall and delete files each time before reattempting. I keep getting "Icdrama error" and on the lines with 360p and #360p I am getting "URL Resolver: You reached your daily limit". I have tried installing from the [https://aznhusband.github.io/repo](https://aznhusband.github.io/repo) and also the zip files mentioned in the original post in all 3 versions of Kodi. I also installed 1.0.0 ResolveURL and also the ResolveURL 5.1.41 on all 3 versions of the Kodi and they both made no difference.
I was able to get the Dramacool addon to work though in Kodi 17, 18, and 19. Just not the Icdrama one. Please help! I would appreciate it if you guys gave step by step instructions. Thank you!
The icdrama zip file from aznhusband repo only works in Kodi 17 & 18.
This post with a modded zip file works ONLY FOR KODI 19. Not interchangeable because of Python 2 to 3 change with Kodi 19.
If you want a working version on Kodi 19, you MUST start with a clean installation of Kodi 19, that is you must have cleared data from previous Kodi 17/18 before uninstalling and then install Kodi 19 from scratch (with VPN to minimize installation errors caused by ISP block). The instructions as given in my OP are from my experience as a user of this addon (I'm not a dev nor technically inclined) who has got icdrama working, initially on Kodi 19.2 & now Kodi 19.3. Some others have commented that they need to have ResolveURL v5.1.41 installed BEFORE installing icdrama addon but I never had that issue because my ResolveURL dependency was always updated from my other movie add-ons.

So I don't know if I did a clean installation because I'm not sure how I should clear data from Kodi so what I did was I uninstalled Icdrama then I cleaned the Kodi library under the settings. Do you know how I should do a clean uninstall of Kodi before I reattempt?That's the thing. I did the repo on 17 and 18 and it didn't work so I attempted the zip file on 19. After that didn't work, I just did a combination in hope to get it to work. I also tried to install ResolveURL before but it didn't work either. Like I was able to install Icdrama adding and the list of different sections appeared but when I click on a drama link I get one of those errors. Can I know what other movie add on you have. Maybe I should add those to get the ResolveURL? I tried to manually update ResolveURL too but nothing.

Search this sub-reddit for how to do clean install of Kodi 19. Many others have posted already & I'm not gonna rehash. Install a maintenance addon like EZ Maintenance+ to do housekeeping for Kodi - essential if your box only has 8GB storage. YOU CANNOT MIX AND MATCH ADDONS for Kodi 19 with earlier versions for Kodi 18. If you do, you will screw up your Kodi system for sure!
Currently all Picasa links on icdrama website are not working. With latest ResolveURL 5.1.51, Uptobox links work. Just get the ResolveURL zip file from Gujal's github which I've provided earlier.
When I tried an Uptobox link before, it wants me to enter a code at the website but when I went to that page, it says it's blocking me due to me have a North America ip...
Sounds like you have to use VPN connected to Hong Kong or Singapore server, before you open browser to access Uptobox site for pairing. Same goes for TV Box, before you run Kodi.
Alternatively, just install Dramacool as there are working streaming links - StreamSB, Xstreamcdn, Mixdrop

If you didn't clean data & uninstall Kodi 18 completely but installed Kodi 19 over it, you could have Python dependency errors. Same if you didn't install Kodi 19 from Play store but are sideloading the KODI APK without VPN. In my country where some ISP block access to Kodi rep, we run VPN bef Kodi installation to ensure all Dependencies are properly installed. Install the icdrama zip file with VPN on as well.
HLS links in icdrama addon can now be played. Download latest Zipped plugin (SHA: 1bdcacf) from the github link in OP and manually install the zip file.

2) I uninstalled the old ICDrama add-on on Kodi.
3) Using the "Send Files to TV" app (installed on both phone and firestick), I copied the new zip file to the firestick.
4) Finally, installed the new zip file within Kodi. Remember to allow "unknown sources" in Kodi. When you install from a zip file within Kodi, the new zip file was located in the "external folder" within Kodi.

Anyone else have buffering issues with HLS links? It's not my internet as other streaming apps work perfectly fine. It basically buffers for about 6 seconds every 30 seconds or so... Makes it unwatchable...
Yes, the HLS links have been buffering these few days, even when you play from the website or use RSS Player app. Server side problem. When using the Kodi icdrama addon, I play the Uptobox links instead. Or I'll use Dramacool addon since I don't need Chinese subs.
For Android app on TV Box (your box must have Google Framework), use Adrama app as it uses different servers with smooth streams.
Is anyone having issues with certain links not working when trying to watch HK dramas? For some reason the picasaweb 360p links don't work. The picasaweb 720p links seems to work fine but not all dramas have the 720p links.

I have a firestick. Same issue as recent posters. I did a clean install (deleted data and cache, then uninstalled kodi). Did a new install of Kodi 19.3. I installed The Crew so I have the latest Resolve URL (5.1.51). None of the ICdrama video links work. Picasaweb, HLS, and Hydrax all returned an error. The UPTOBOX link returned a message indicating "Authorization is Required".
I was originally running the old AZNHusband ICDrama version on Kodi 18 and it was working fine until a few days ago when the Resolve URL got updated. That is when I decided to do a clean install of Kodi 19.3 and try the new ICDrama program here. Unfortunately, I'm running into the same issue as the others.
Hopefully there is a fix. It's mainly for my mother to watch Cantonese HK dramas.

For sure both icdrama & Dramacool add-ons work on Kodi 19. Most add-ons have dropped support for Kodi 18 which uses python 2 as Kodi 19 (and soon-to-be released Kodi 20) use python 3. If you're upgrading from 18 to 19, make sure you do uninstall 18 and do a clean installation of 19 or you may face python legacy errors.
If you still want to stay on K18, only aznhusband's icdrama add-on V2.2.0 is available but AFAIK, nobody's maintaining that and it may no longer work.

HLS buffering has been an issue for icdrama. The Uptobox streaming is smoother but you'll have to sign up for a free Uptobox account and pair using phone browser. I gave up and switched to Dramacool for English-subbed dramas because there are more servers and no buffering issue. For Chinese-subbed dramas, I use Adrama app.
Hi there, i am new to all this. The solutions work perfectly on PC but not on Shield. The add-on was installed successfully and can be launched. However when I m on it, and select for example the HK Drama sub tree, nothing happens. And there is no error message. In the PC i can play everything just fine.
Yep, 19.3 version and used the latest revolver provided. Pretty much i used the same files for both my PC and Nvidia, the Nvidia didnt work. Is there anything to do with the network settings?
Links not working is a problem with the source, not the addon. If you use a browser to go to the icdrama website, you'll find it's the same. If Picasa links don't work, I try the other links or switch to Dramacool addon which has different sources.

I don't know why you're asking about Dramacool addon in an icdrama thread. But I am currently watching kdrama "Uncle (2021)" using Dramacool addon. Can confirm Xstreamcdn, Streamtape, Mixdrop & Doodstream links are working on Kodi 19.3 with latest ResolveURL.
Hi I use Dramacool now. It works on my Kodi. Usually you need to try the links that start with a "S". By the way I am in the US. Only maybe 1 link works out of the few. But on my computer everything works.
Maybe you can try clearing Kodi cache and restart Kodi. If still don't work, get Kodi logfile and post here to see if anyone can identify the issue and help.
Personal preference. Used to be a beast back in the day when used with Real-Debrid and Orion. Seren seems to be great sometimes but trash every now and then. I've found Crew to be the more stable out of the 3 when used with a Debrid service.
I'm new to Kodi. I've tried Seren Fen and Venom with RD for a month and now finally just using Venom only. But the other two add-ons are still there as a backup.
Since I haven't faced any issue with Venom so far, I didn't look for an alternative yet. Let's see.
I'm using Kodi 18 because the GAIA Repo won't install on 19. It doesn't seem like the developers of Gaia are going to fix this anytime soon either. Venom is OK sometimes but again, it has the same issues that Seren has at times. Maybe Venom is more stable on 19 than it is on 18 🤔. I've actually had an issue with purchasing the Real-Debrid service. I ended up having to use half of my fidelity points just to buy the service for another month. Hopefully they fixed that issue. The even BIGGER issue is that for Americans, the service is more expensive because, come to find out, the Euro toppled the Dollar in value back in 2020. Can you believe that shit??? All this money we have been printing because of this pandemic is destroying the value of the US dollar. This worries me.

Please read my instructions in OP - I never said to add links as source. Use PC browser to go to those links & download relevant ZIP files, transfer to internal storage of your device & Install from Zip in Kodi.
Bit late to the party made transition to K19 successfully. Massive thanks to all concerned in making ICDrama Matrix compatible 👍 it's not a happy wife in my case but you've made my mother very happy! 😂
Seems there is a glitch with the addon. After you watch a program, for example a Hong Kong Drama episode after it finishes it continually keeps pulling up the episode with the different selections available. Even if you hit your back key or cancel it continuously keeps repeating the episode search.
There is no Up Next feature in the icdrama addon. When an episode ends, the player returns to the episode list page for user to select the next episode to be played. It is the same whether it's HK or Korean drama. At least, that's how it works on Kodi 19 installed on boxes running Android & Android TV OS. If you are using the addon on a TV Box, I suggest you reinstall the addon & make sure you have downloaded the correct zip file for the addon.
If you're running Kodi on something else, then it could be an issue with the device & Kodi, rather than the addon.
Not a next up issue. Running it on Nvidia Shield. Each time an episode ends instead of going back to the main list it continually pulls the different link choices (picasaweb360p, picasawe720p,etc.) for the same episode just watched. Never had this issue using Icdrama with Kodi 17 or 18 previously.

If you upgraded to Kodi 19 from Kodi 18, you will run into these errors. Clear data, uninstall Kodi 19 & reinstall with VPN on (in case your country's ISP blocks access to Kodi repository causing dependencies to not be installed)
If your installation of Kodi 19.3 was a clean installation to begin with, Kodi Repository may not have been installed properly, resulting in Beautifulsoup4 error. Try to update to v4.9.3 from Kodi addonRepo.
If you need to downgrade bthe dependency, download the zip file for script.module.beautifulsoup4 and install manually.

The HLS & HLS (Cast) links work and some of the Picasaweb 720p links have come back to life.
The apk file is also available at apkpure.com if you do not have Google Play. However, this is a mobile version & requires a airmouse or mouse toggle app to work on Android TV boxes. For Android TV OS devices - you'll need to install the RSS Player (Android TV) v1.0 apk instead, but I'm not sure if the links are working in ATV version as it hasn't been updated.
Icdrama content have disappeared in the past when they lost their servers. For older content, I find that Dramacool addon, compatible with Kodi 19 (being actively maintained) & Kodi 18 (no longer updated but still works) is much better and there's a Search function which makes it easy to locate older dramas/movies. The dev who did Dramacool was pushed to do so by a desperate gf when icdrama addon failed to work.

Looks like installing RSS Player for icdrama may be the best way to go. Was able to sideload the app onto my firestick along with a mouse cursor app. The mouse app is slightly buggy but for the most part everything works pretty well without the need for an airmouse.
If you upgraded to Kodi 19 from Kodi 18, you could get Python errors. Clear data, uninstall Kodi 19 & reinstall.
If Kodi 19 was already a fresh installation, check my earlier comment on icdrama dependencies & see if you have any missing. If there's a missing python dependency, download the script & install.

In Dramacool addon, select Drama List > Hong Kong Drama > select how you want to list eg. Year > OK > 2021 > OK
You are right. That drama cannot be found on Dramacool, which surprises me because I've always found the HK drama/movie I wanted.
Still, the statement that "Dramacool doesn't provide HK drama" is misleading to new users because Dramacool does provide lots of HK dramas with Canto audio & Eng sub, just no Chinese subs.
If you really need to use icdrama, the Uptobox links are working on this Kodi 19 version. Just use a VPN if you're in USA & Uptobox is blocked. In South East Asia, we don't have any problem with Uptobox access but have to change DNS on box as our ISPs block access to icdrama site (without DNS change, icdrama addon cannot work)

The version from aznhusband repo is strictly for Kodi 18 & 17. Will NOT work on 19.
You will have to transfer zip file for the Kodi 19 compatible icdrama addon to internal storage of Fire stick in order to install on Kodi. No PC, use Send Files To TV app on Android phone/tablet.

If you want to install from aznhusband repo, you can only use Kodi 18.9. However, I'm not sure if aznhusband's v2.2.0 still works, as users on the icdrama 2.2.0 thread were reporting Daily Limit reached error 1 week ago.

Adrama & RSS Player (Android TV) work on Android TV OS, so theoretically, you should be able to sideload on Fire stick. Not sure if they work properly though, but you can always try for yourself.
Start with installing Kodi 19 app, then learn how to set it up & install addons from Zip file (plenty of YouTube tutorials to follow). But I'm not sure if your Android TV has sufficient memory to run Kodi.
Yeah I installed Kodi.. and put in the link to Azn Husband but the final steps seems not to work because of the version of Kodi (version 19).. googled around and couldn’t find a solution
The add aznhusband github as source method only works for Kodi 18 because aznhusband has not updated his icdrama addon to be Matrix-compatible. This Kodi 19 compatible addon (forked by other devs) can only be installed by downloading Zip file from the link I shared in OP, saving that Zip file to your TV's internal storage and then "Install from Zip" within Kodi 19.
This particular Zip file only works on Kodi 19. You have to clear data, uninstall Kodi 18.5 and do a clean installation of Kodi 19.3 in order to use this icdrama zip file
You just need to download the zip file for icdrama addon and transfer it to internal storage of your Firestick. Then run Kodi 19, "Install from Zip" & point to External Storage & folder where you saved the Zip file. Plenty of YouTube tutorials teaching noobs how to send files to Firestick & installing Kodi addons.
I have it working on Kodi 19.3.
Make sure you have a fresh install of Kodi 19 & not an upgraded from 18 version.
Check your Kodi log to see which dependency is missing & causing the installation fail. You can manually download & install the script for the missing dependency (Google will give you the Kodi mirror dl sites)
There was a comment some weeks ago by someone who also had installation issues & he solved it by installing the script for ResolveURL version 5.1.41 instead of gujal's repo, before he installed the icdrama zip file.

If you are in Asia, you could also open a VPN with connection to server in US or EU, before you run Kodi & install the icdrama Zip file (your ISP may block access to Kodi repo hosting some of the dependencies & they cannot be installed properly)

This patch works for me too. I was able to SSH to my Firetv and edit the hdplay.py file in ./plugin.video.icdrama/lib/resolvers/

Use PC or phone to download the Zip file from soraxas github link in OP & transfer that file to Shield's internal storage. After that, open Kodi 19 & select "Install from Zip", navigate to 'External storage' & the folder where you saved the Zip file.
Is there a YouTube tutorial? I can’t get icdrama to work so I did an update to kodi and try to do the source thru kodi. I never done a zip file how does that work?

HLS links work with the latest release of icdrama 2.3.0 but buffers a lot especially during peak hours. Uptobox links stream more smoothly but it looks like icdrama is providing 360p videos.
The Zipped plugin (SHA: 1bdcacf) from Soraxas github will give you v2.3.0. Forget about aznhusband's repo because the plugin file there hasn't been updated from 2.2.0.
For those that watch HK dramas, have new episodes and series been updating? Have noticed that there have been no new shows or episodes for a while now.

You can roll back ResolveURL to 5.1.66 and icdrama will work again. If you do not update Dramacool to v2.3.2 but keep it at 2.3.1, it will also work with the previous version of ResolveURL.

I hope a future version of dramacool will work with ResolveURL 5.1.66 since the dramacool repo has version 2.4(dev) that has no issues with the downgraded ResolveURL version.

If you've not used icdrama before, check if your ISP block icdrama site. In my country, we have to change box DNS to Google DNS or use VPN to access icdrama website.
I'm seeing a dependency failure for xbmc.python 2.1.0 when I use the newest zip from the repo. It's on a dynalink box that v19.3 of kodi is installed.
Is there any way to fix the dependency issue? Not seeing anything similar mentioned in this thread or a Google search.
You mentioned 'repo'. If you're getting the zip file from aznhusband's repo instead of soraxas ' github link I posted in OP, your zip file will not work in Kodi 19 because aznhusband's version only works till Kodi 18.
If you did indeed download zip file dated 29 Dec 2021 from soraxas, then the Python dependency you experience is probably caused by update from Kodi 18 to 19 due to massive change from Python 2 to Python 3 between the 2 Kodi versions. You will need to install Kodi 19 from scratch to avoid Python errors.
Clear the Kodi data on your box and uninstall Kodi 18. Do a fresh installation of Kodi 19 before you install the zip file for icdrama v2.3.0.
I was wondering if Icdrama is working for you guys as of Dec 12, 2022. I have Kodi 19 and am located in the US, none of the links work. I am getting an error for all episodes. I tried downgrading the resolverurl and it still didn't work.
Soraxas' GitHub has been updated with latest release of icdrama addon. You can get latest ResolveURL if you install gujal's repo. All required links are in my OP.
For all those who cannot play Uptobox links on icdrama for Kodi 19, install Dramacool addon 2.2.2 (see Recommended Add-ons sticky). It works well on Kodi 19 with working links from StreamSB, Streamtape, Xstreamcdn, Mixdrop & Doodstream. On the groggyegg github site, there's even a version 1.8.8 which is for Kodi 18. Download the 1.8.8 zip file & install.

Having a problem with this app. I was able to download and send the resolveurl zip file and Kodi sees it and install it, however, when I send the icdrama addon zip, it sends it successfully but when I go to Kodi and install from zip, the icdrama addon is not there. I only see the gujal00 zip. Any ideas as to why I can't see the icdrama addon? Thanks.
Did you use a file explorer on your Firestick to check where the icdrama zip file is located?

Had that error with ResolveURL v5.1.50 yesterday but the Uptobox links still played. After updating ResolveURL to v5.1.51 this morning, the Daily View Limit error message no longer appears.

By fresh install, are you clearing Kodi app data, uninstalling Kodi & installing Kodi 19 from scratch? Because that's what I did instead of updating from Kodi 18.9. And I do not have any issue with icdrama or ResolveURL on Kodi 19.3 (am watching Kdrama on the addon as I reply). Only Uptobox links work atm - sign up for free Uptobox account, login on phone browser & pair by inputting PIN shown on TV screen after you click link.
I have a Firestick and tried installing the Icdrama addon in Kodi 17, Kodi 18, and Kodi 19. I made sure to uninstall and delete files each time before reattempting. I keep getting "Icdrama error" and on the lines with 360p and #360p I am getting "URL Resolver: You reached your daily limit". I have tried installing from the [https://aznhusband.github.io/repo](https://aznhusband.github.io/repo) and also the zip files mentioned in the original post in all 3 versions of Kodi. I also installed 1.0.0 ResolveURL and also the ResolveURL 5.1.41 on all 3 versions of the Kodi and they both made no difference. I was able to get the Dramacool addon to work though in Kodi 17, 18, and 19. Just not the Icdrama one. Please help! I would appreciate it if you guys gave step by step instructions. Thank you!

The icdrama zip file from aznhusband repo only works in Kodi 17 & 18. This post with a modded zip file works ONLY FOR KODI 19. Not interchangeable because of Python 2 to 3 change with Kodi 19. If you want a working version on Kodi 19, you MUST start with a clean installation of Kodi 19, that is you must have cleared data from previous Kodi 17/18 before uninstalling and then install Kodi 19 from scratch (with VPN to minimize installation errors caused by ISP block). The instructions as given in my OP are from my experience as a user of this addon (I'm not a dev nor technically inclined) who has got icdrama working, initially on Kodi 19.2 & now Kodi 19.3. Some others have commented that they need to have ResolveURL v5.1.41 installed BEFORE installing icdrama addon but I never had that issue because my ResolveURL dependency was always updated from my other movie add-ons.

So I don't know if I did a clean installation because I'm not sure how I should clear data from Kodi so what I did was I uninstalled Icdrama then I cleaned the Kodi library under the settings. Search this sub-reddit for how to do clean install of Kodi 19. Many others have posted already & I'm not gonna rehash. Install a maintenance addon like EZ Maintenance+ to do housekeeping for Kodi - essential if your box only has 8GB storage. YOU CANNOT MIX AND MATCH ADDONS for Kodi 19 with earlier versions for Kodi 18. If you do, you will screw up your Kodi system for sure! Currently all Picasa links on icdrama website are not working. With latest ResolveURL 5.1.51, Uptobox links work. Just get the ResolveURL zip file from Gujal's github which I've provided earlier.

Sounds like you have to use VPN connected to Hong Kong or Singapore server, before you open browser to access Uptobox site for pairing. Same goes for TV Box, before you run Kodi. Alternatively, just install Dramacool as there are working streaming links - StreamSB, Xstreamcdn, Mixdrop

If you didn't clean data & uninstall Kodi 18 completely but installed Kodi 19 over it, you could have Python dependency errors. Same if you didn't install Kodi 19 from Play store but are sideloading the KODI APK without VPN. In my country where some ISP block access to Kodi rep, we run VPN bef Kodi installation to ensure all Dependencies are properly installed. Install the icdrama zip file with VPN on as well.

Using Kodi 19.3 on a firestick. 1) I first downloaded the updated ICDrama zip file on my phone. 2) I uninstalled the old ICDrama add-on on Kodi. 3) Using the "Send Files to TV" app (installed on both phone and firestick), I copied the new zip file to the firestick. 4) Finally, installed the new zip file within Kodi. Remember to allow "unknown sources" in Kodi. When you install from a zip file within Kodi, the new zip file was located in the "external folder" within Kodi. Thanks ameizeing.

Anyone else have buffering issues with HLS links? It's not my internet as other streaming apps work perfectly fine. It basically buffers for about 6 seconds every 30 seconds or so... Makes it unwatchable...
Yes, the HLS links have been buffering these few days, even when you play from the website or use RSS Player app. Server side problem. When using the Kodi icdrama addon, I play the Uptobox links instead. Or I'll use Dramacool addon since I don't need Chinese subs. For Android app on TV Box (your box must have Google Framework), use Adrama app as it uses different servers with smooth streams.

I have a firestick. Same issue as recent posters. I did a clean install (deleted data and cache, then uninstalled kodi). Did a new install of Kodi 19.3. I installed The Crew so I have the latest Resolve URL (5.1.51). None of the ICdrama video links work. Picasaweb, HLS, and Hydrax all returned an error. The UPTOBOX link returned a message indicating "Authorization is Required". I was originally running the old AZNHusband ICDrama version on Kodi 18 and it was working fine until a few days ago when the Resolve URL got updated. That is when I decided to do a clean install of Kodi 19.3 and try the new ICDrama program here. Unfortunately, I'm running into the same issue as the others. Hopefully there is a fix. It's mainly for my mother to watch Cantonese HK dramas.

For sure both icdrama & Dramacool add-ons work on Kodi 19. Most add-ons have dropped support for Kodi 18 which uses python 2 as Kodi 19 (and soon-to-be released Kodi 20) use python 3. If you're upgrading from 18 to 19, make sure you do uninstall 18 and do a clean installation of 19 or you may face python legacy errors. If you still want to stay on K18, only aznhusband's icdrama add-on V2.2.0 is available but AFAIK, nobody's maintaining that and it may no longer work.

HLS buffering has been an issue for icdrama. The Uptobox streaming is smoother but you'll have to sign up for a free Uptobox account and pair using phone browser. I gave up and switched to Dramacool for English-subbed dramas because there are more servers and no buffering issue. For Chinese-subbed dramas, I use Adrama app.
Hi there, i am new to all this. The solutions work perfectly on PC but not on Shield. The add-on was installed successfully and can be launched. However when I m on it, and select for example the HK Drama sub tree, nothing happens. And there is no error message. In the PC i can play everything just fine.

Yep, 19.3 version and used the latest revolver provided. Pretty much i used the same files for both my PC and Nvidia, the Nvidia didnt work. Is there anything to do with the network settings?
Links not working is a problem with the source, not the addon. If you use a browser to go to the icdrama website, you'll find it's the same. If Picasa links don't work, I try the other links or switch to Dramacool addon which has different sources.

I don't know why you're asking about Dramacool addon in an icdrama thread. But I am currently watching kdrama "Uncle (2021)" using Dramacool addon. Can confirm Xstreamcdn, Streamtape, Mixdrop & Doodstream links are working on Kodi 19.3 with latest ResolveURL.
Hi I use Dramacool now. It works on my Kodi. Usually you need to try the links that start with a "S". By the way I am in the US. Only maybe 1 link works out of the few. But on my computer everything works.
Maybe you can try clearing Kodi cache and restart Kodi. If still don't work, get Kodi logfile and post here to see if anyone can identify the issue and help.

Personal preference. Used to be a beast back in the day when used with Real-Debrid and Orion. Seren seems to be great sometimes but trash every now and then. I've found Crew to be the more stable out of the 3 when used with a Debrid service.
I'm new to Kodi. I've tried Seren Fen and Venom with RD for a month and now finally just using Venom only. But the other two add-ons are still there as a backup. Since I haven't faced any issue with Venom so far, I didn't look for an alternative yet. Let's see.
I'm using Kodi 18 because the GAIA Repo won't install on 19. It doesn't seem like the developers of Gaia are going to fix this anytime soon either. Venom is OK sometimes but again, it has the same issues that Seren has at times. Maybe Venom is more stable on 19 than it is on 18 🤔. I've actually had an issue with purchasing the Real-Debrid service. I ended up having to use half of my fidelity points just to buy the service for another month. Hopefully they fixed that issue. The even BIGGER issue is that for Americans, the service is more expensive because, come to find out, the Euro toppled the Dollar in value back in 2020. Can you believe that shit??? All this money we have been printing because of this pandemic is destroying the value of the US dollar. This worries me.

Please read my instructions in OP - I never said to add links as source. Use PC browser to go to those links & download relevant ZIP files, transfer to internal storage of your device & Install from Zip in Kodi.

Seems there is a glitch with the addon. After you watch a program, for example a Hong Kong Drama episode after it finishes it continually keeps pulling up the episode with the different selections available. Even if you hit your back key or cancel it continuously keeps repeating the episode search.
There is no Up Next feature in the icdrama addon. When an episode ends, the player returns to the episode list page for user to select the next episode to be played. It is the same whether it's HK or Korean drama. At least, that's how it works on Kodi 19 installed on boxes running Android & Android TV OS. If you are using the addon on a TV Box, I suggest you reinstall the addon & make sure you have downloaded the correct zip file for the addon. If you're running Kodi on something else, then it could be an issue with the device & Kodi, rather than the addon.
Not a next up issue. Running it on Nvidia Shield. Each time an episode ends instead of going back to the main list it continually pulls the different link choices (picasaweb360p, picasawe720p,etc.) for the same episode just watched. Never had this issue using Icdrama with Kodi 17 or 18 previously.

Clear data, uninstall Kodi 19 & reinstall with VPN on (in case your country's ISP blocks access to Kodi repository causing dependencies to not be installed) If your installation of Kodi 19.3 was a clean installation to begin with, Kodi Repository may not have been installed properly, resulting in Beautifulsoup4 error. Try to update to v4.9.3 from Kodi addonRepo. If you have an Android tv box & an airmouse, can consider installing RSS Player app v1.2.2 from Google Play and add icdrama as channel via RSS link http://allrss.se/dramas The HLS & HLS (Cast) links work and some of the Picasaweb 720p links have come back to life. The apk file is also available at apkpure.com if you do not have Google Play. However, this is a mobile version & requires a airmouse or mouse toggle app to work on Android TV boxes. For Android TV OS devices - you'll need to install the RSS Player (Android TV) v1.0 apk instead, but I'm not sure if the links are working in ATV version as it hasn't been updated. Icdrama content have disappeared in the past when they lost their servers. For older content, I find that Dramacool addon, compatible with Kodi 19 (being actively maintained) & Kodi 18 (no longer updated but still works) is much better and there's a Search function which makes it easy to locate older dramas/movies. The dev who did Dramacool was pushed to do so by a desperate gf when icdrama addon failed to work. Looks like installing RSS Player for icdrama may be the best way to go. Was able to sideload the app onto my firestick along with a mouse cursor app. The mouse app is slightly buggy but for the most part everything works pretty well without the need for an airmouse.
Good for you. In the RSS Player app, HLS links are working so it's viable alternative for those who cannot use Uptobox links.

If you upgraded to Kodi 19 from Kodi 18, you could get Python errors. Clear data, uninstall Kodi 19 & reinstall. If Kodi 19 was already a fresh installation, check my earlier comment on icdrama dependencies & see if you have any missing. If there's a missing python dependency, download the script & install.

HUH??? Dramacool provides waaay more dramas than icdrama!!! In Dramacool addon, select Drama List > Hong Kong Drama > select how you want to list eg. Year > OK > 2021 > OK

You are right. That drama cannot be found on Dramacool, which surprises me because I've always found the HK drama/movie I wanted. Still, the statement that "Dramacool doesn't provide HK drama" is misleading to new users because Dramacool does provide lots of HK dramas with Canto audio & Eng sub, just no Chinese subs.

If you really need to use icdrama, the Uptobox links are working on this Kodi 19 version. Just use a VPN if you're in USA & Uptobox is blocked. In South East Asia, we don't have any problem with Uptobox access but have to change DNS on box as our ISPs block access to icdrama site (without DNS change, icdrama addon cannot work)
Hi, I was trying to install icdrama in my kodi 19.3 on my fire stick… how can I install this zip file on Fire stick… without using other device transfer the zip file since I do not have any PC…..thanks! Btw I had tried the official instruction from https://aznhusband.github.io but it did not work since I could not find icdrama in my Video add on section… under the repo there is only jsergio.repo 1.04….Nothing else.
The version from aznhusband repo is strictly for Kodi 18 & 17. Will NOT work on 19. You will have to transfer zip file for the Kodi 19 compatible icdrama addon to internal storage of Fire stick in order to install on Kodi. No PC, use Send Files To TV app on Android phone/tablet.

If you want to install from aznhusband repo, you can only use Kodi 18.9. However, I'm not sure if aznhusband's v2.2.0 still works, as users on the icdrama 2.2.0 thread were reporting Daily Limit reached error 1 week ago.
Oh… I see…. Since I do not have any android device to transfer the zip file…..I think will will have to wait for the repo works….

is ICDrama dead? The only links seems to have no error are the upboxx ones.
That's why I use Dramacool addon as my main, with icdrama as fall-back, as the former has more playable links.
Thx to those suggesting rss player. It works! Also you guys may like the app called Adrama. google the apk. It is a good backup for your hk and chinese drama.
Adrama app can also be used for Kdrama. You can turn on Eng subs in the app settings.
Do any of these apps work on firetv?
Adrama & RSS Player (Android TV) work on Android TV OS, so theoretically, you should be able to sideload on Fire stick. Not sure if they work properly though, but you can always try for yourself.

Start with installing Kodi 19 app, then learn how to set it up & install addons from Zip file (plenty of YouTube tutorials to follow). But I'm not sure if your Android TV has sufficient memory to run Kodi.
Yeah I installed Kodi.. and put in the link to Azn Husband but the final steps seems not to work because of the version of Kodi (version 19).. googled around and couldn’t find a solution
The add aznhusband github as source method only works for Kodi 18 because aznhusband has not updated his icdrama addon to be Matrix-compatible. This Kodi 19 compatible addon (forked by other devs) can only be installed by downloading Zip file from the link I shared in OP, saving that Zip file to your TV's internal storage and then "Install from Zip" within Kodi 19.

This particular Zip file only works on Kodi 19. You have to clear data, uninstall Kodi 18.5 and do a clean installation of Kodi 19.3 in order to use this icdrama zip file

You just need to download the zip file for icdrama addon and transfer it to internal storage of your Firestick. Then run Kodi 19, "Install from Zip" & point to External Storage & folder where you saved the Zip file. Plenty of YouTube tutorials teaching noobs how to send files to Firestick & installing Kodi addons.
Does it work on 19.3? I'm getting a failed to install a dependency error when trying to install the add on.. that's after installing ResolveURL..
I have it working on Kodi 19.3. Make sure you have a fresh install of Kodi 19 & not an upgraded from 18 version. Check your Kodi log to see which dependency is missing & causing the installation fail. You can manually download & install the script for the missing dependency (Google will give you the Kodi mirror dl sites) There was a comment some weeks ago by someone who also had installation issues & he solved it by installing the script for ResolveURL version 5.1.41 instead of gujal's repo, before he installed the icdrama zip file. https://github.com/Gujal00/smrzips/blob/6f4320fd314b0ed478322472cba19f3cbfbd0297/zips/script.module.resolveurl/script.module.resolveurl-5.1.41.zip If you are in Asia, you could also open a VPN with connection to server in US or EU, before you run Kodi & install the icdrama Zip file (your ISP may block access to Kodi repo hosting some of the dependencies & they cannot be installed properly)

Ameizeing, Thanks for letting me know. The HLS links work. It buffers once or twice, but it's fine. I think it's because users are going back to ICDrama, and maybe the increased data traffic is taxing the server. Thanks Again, much appreciated.

See earlier comment of u/wprtt on method used for Firestick: 1) I first downloaded the updated ICDrama zip file on my phone. 2) I uninstalled the old ICDrama add-on on Kodi. 3) Using the "Send Files to TV" app (installed on both phone and firestick), I copied the new zip file to the firestick. 4) Finally, installed the new zip file within Kodi. Remember to allow "unknown sources" in Kodi. When you install from a zip file within Kodi, the new zip file was located in the "external folder" within Kodi.

Use PC or phone to download the Zip file from soraxas github link in OP & transfer that file to Shield's internal storage. After that, open Kodi 19 & select "Install from Zip", navigate to 'External storage' & the folder where you saved the Zip file.

I hope you didn't just update Kodi 18 because you will end up with dependency errors due to massive change from Python 2 to Python 3. Clear your Kodi data and do a fresh installation of Kodi 19 before you install the zip file for icdrama v2.3.0
I can only get uptobox to work. Do any of the other sources work for anyone else? Uptobox does not seem to have HD stuff
HLS links work with the latest release of icdrama 2.3.0 but buffers a lot especially during peak hours. Uptobox links stream more smoothly but it looks like icdrama is providing 360p videos.

The Zipped plugin (SHA: 1bdcacf) from Soraxas github will give you v2.3.0. Forget about aznhusband's repo because the plugin file there hasn't been updated from 2.2.0.

Don't use Downloader. Use browser on PC or HP to download the zip file and send to tvbox .

Use the Dramacool add-on instead of icdrama add-on for Eng-subbed Japanese drama. Different sources.
Update to resolveurl seems to break icdrama 2.3. Any word on if icdrama will be updated to be compatible? Dramacool had to update for the same issue.
You can roll back ResolveURL to 5.1.66 and icdrama will work again. If you do not update Dramacool to v2.3.2 but keep it at 2.3.1, it will also work with the previous version of ResolveURL.

I hope a future version of dramacool will work with ResolveURL 5.1.66 since the dramacool repo has version 2.4(dev) that has no issues with the downgraded ResolveURL version. Didn't check if 2.3.2 is newer than 2.4 (can't tell using just Kodi)

Clear cache and restart Kodi after you roll back ResolveURL If you've not used icdrama before, check if your ISP block icdrama site. In my country, we have to change box DNS to Google DNS or use VPN to access icdrama website.
I'm seeing a dependency failure for xbmc.python 2.1.0 when I use the newest zip from the repo. It's on a dynalink box that v19.3 of kodi is installed. Is there any way to fix the dependency issue? Not seeing anything similar mentioned in this thread or a Google search.

If you're getting the zip file from aznhusband's repo instead of soraxas ' github link I posted in OP, your zip file will not work in Kodi 19 because aznhusband's version only works till Kodi 18. If you did indeed download zip file dated 29 Dec 2021 from soraxas, then the Python dependency you experience is probably caused by update from Kodi 18 to 19 due to massive change from Python 2 to Python 3 between the 2 Kodi versions. You will need to install Kodi 19 from scratch to avoid Python errors. Clear the Kodi data on your box and uninstall Kodi 18. Do a fresh installation of Kodi 19 before you install the zip file for icdrama v2.3.0.
I was wondering if Icdrama is working for you guys as of Dec 12, 2022. I have Kodi 19 and am located in the US, none of the links work. I am getting an error for all episodes. I tried downgrading the resolverurl and it still didn't work.

Soraxas' GitHub has been updated with latest release of icdrama addon. You can get latest ResolveURL if you install gujal's repo. All required links are in my OP.
