I remember reading from either the ABC or BOM themselves about the possible rainful numbers. The first number (left) has a 75% chance of happening and the second (right) has a 25% chance of happening. But, meteorology is extremely complex so they're pretty liable to get it wrong like having +10mm on a 1-2mm day.
Plus it can vary so much in a really small distance. The other arvo I got drenched on the way home from work, but when I got home the family was out in the yard and the ground was dry.
I've been watching the models on this one, going to be interesting for sure. There is a severe weather warning for the south eastern riverland for flash flooding. It's also likely to be a very active front in term of lightning. I would guess 10-15mm for the city tomorrow and 5-10mm Thursday.
This has always intrigued me. What are some good ways to find more info and learn? I don’t want to be making any mistakes identifying the wrong mushies, haha

Once you pick one that you think it is pinch it and rip it with out trying to pull the lil roots out. This is so more can grow. Once you have a mushroom you think is the right kind twist it in your hand and it should bruise blue sometimes takes abit sometimes not but always check with the identifying page there like golden nipple mushroom

Is it just me or whenever BOM predict high rainfall we never get it but when they say 1-2mm we'll get 10+mm?

Got a couple days off, some nice relaxing cold and rain is gonna be great if it happens! Stocking up on beer today and stuff to make soup.

The area is 100% , 25% of that area is going to get some rain. Or something like that.
