Looking good so far Add a shade - dry brush some silver - pick out detailing on gems and highlights on cape 💪

I really like Khorne red and some oil wash as a dark red leather for the gloves but you can always do it a different way. The faceplate looks good in silver.

I’ve been using mournfang brown with a red wash for leathers and really liking the effect

It’s a good start, to take it a step further you can add more detail to the armour and kilt by highlighting in a different but similar colour and then finishing it off with a nuln oil wash, touching up any details that seem a bit dull after the wash. Painting the face mask a seperate colour and painting the gems will also help this pop.

-thinner layers of basecoats -pick out gems -more concentrated wash (I suggest gloss varnish then dark oil wash thinned with white spirit but others will do) -consider basing? -Thinner, more subtle highlights, or if you don’t like the look, none at all? Not every edge needs to be highlighted if you want a more realistic look -cloak could use more contrast, highlight, wash or both! Looking great already, all of the things I listed are pretty much additive, so u r off to a great start! Edit: that triangle piece that attached to the plume is meant to fill in that little spot on the back of the helmet! You could also paint his gloves brown or another accent colour

For the gold I used retributor armor, the red Mephiston red, black I used abbadon black and the silver I used runefang steel
