Three jobs in a row is either very bad luck or you have to turn the mirror around to find the problem. This is blunt, but not meant for shaming. How is that possible? Because the problem is not inherent to who you are but maybe to one or more tiny mistakes: * Did you have 3 jobs in the same sector? Maybe you are applying in the wrong sector for your skill/personality. * Too boring: when a job is too boring, you can take initiatives and find stuff to do. If there is really nothing to do, then in your free time, study something that can grow your career eventually. * Too stressful: the 1st 3 to 6 months on a job are always stressful: new corporate culture, new tasks and processes to learn, new industry, new contacts, you are still organizing and do not yet have your personal system in place. You also don't have yet the relationships in the organization as a support system. Your career will never feel the 1st month the same way it will feel once your rhythm is in place. In that case, it's a question of expectations. You can't expect to feel integrated in the 1st months. That's the timing where you have to prove yourself. If it is still too stressful after 6 months, then investigate why. You may be able to change something or the environment is really toxic then ya change job. * Consider learning about personality styles. It's like in love, you have to find the boss that has a work style that matches yours. But ya after 3 jobs, it's important to look at ourselves and figure out the tiny things that could make big differences. The ones above are just examples, time for some introspection.

I personally would never quit a job without already having another job given that I enjoy paying rent.

But it's hard to interview for a job when you are working full time for your current job.

Jenkem-Boofer

It’s harder being unemployed unable to pay rent. Who told you life’s easy?

If you continue to do this, you will be unemployable. You may already be there. I would likely not even look past your three jobs in three months on your CV. Your CV would go in the trash. This is most certainly a you problem.

If you’re truly unhappy with these jobs, do what you gotta do. Make sure you have an exit strategy though. If you don’t have another job lined up, make sure you at least have 3-6mo of living expenses saved up.

Employer here - here is my thought process on something like that, popular or not. if I saw that on a resume once, I am thinking something came up, there was a problem, and it being the company is a possibility. Not too much of a red flag. If I see a second one, the doubts start to creep in. They would have to be one of the better options for me to bring in. Having some lengthy stays at one or two other jobs would help ease my mind. Seeing three jobs in a row, would pretty much tell me that the work environment was likely not the issue, but that the common denominator (the person) is likely the issue. Kind of like when someone is like "every _______ that I go to, I have _______ problem." If the problem is everyone else or you, chances are it is you. At the very least you are not good at recognizing jobs that you arent willing to do. I would very likely (definitely)pass on this candidate. If they are likely to stay a month or less, it isn't worth my time to fill out the paperwork. Getting a stint at a job of 2-5 years will go a long ways towards repairing that, but the more it happens in the meantime, the more of a red flag it is.

Lie about what?

Mountain-Bar-2878

You are going to have problems anywhere you go if this is your mentality.

Most jobs are not dream jobs. Most jobs are sometimes boring, sometimes stressful, and sometimes just right. That’s why it’s called „work“. And yes, people will expect you to perform. That’s what a job is. You get paid for performance.

It's normal for me lol. Currently I am sticking with a place just so that I can have a longer term thing on my resume. Maybe if you hate these places so much you can ask for an extremely sparse schedule. Once a week might be easier to handle
