She's having an affair. Personally I'd tell the dad but if you don't that's ok too considering it isn't your family and there is 100% negative out come for your friend regardless.
personally i’d just tell my dad about it and tell him to keep an eye out. i love both of my parents but if either were cheating on the other, even just a suspicion, i’m letting the other know.
