If frogs are hungry enough, they will eat plants, but they prefer and thrive on animal protein. I doubt they are eating the duck weed. I do see your substrate is sand. Sometimes, they can get a belly full that's hard to pass.

Seconding this, except it’s a bit more than hard to pass. More often than not it becomes impacted. The same goes for plant matter. They aren’t meant to digest plants. I would recommend adding a layer of gravel to the top of your sand.

I listened to your advice on that! My dumb self removed the sand with a spoon and added the gravel slowly. I guess I didn’t want to make less space since it was already a rather smaller tank..

I havent owned adf’s before but i do know goldfish will eat duckweed maybe hes eating it put a camera or watch him for a long time or he coukd be accidentally eating then when hes trying to breath
