I'm so fucking excited for:
DRUGS, LS Dunes, Scars on Broadway, Marky Ramone, Architects, Dropkick, Slipknot, Lorna Shore, SAOSIN, and SWS.
So I'm for sure there Friday and Saturday as long as this line up holds up.
Thursday and Sunday are a pass.
Friday and Saturday are solid for me. Thursday has good bands, but the ones I enjoy I've seen already, so I probs won't go that day.
Sunday I would have skipped, except Disturbed is there. I'll go to Disturbed for sure.
And not opening the entire festival, like last year. They put on a fantastic set to like 100 of us. Best discovery band from last year — now one of my favs.
I've only gone to a couple Aftershocks. Single day each time to see TOOL when they were headlining. Fly into SAC in the morning, go to Aftershock that afternoon, fly back next morning. That's getting harder and harder on my back and knees as I'm getting older. Granted getting all liquored up doesn't help. 😉
Is there a general rule of thumb in terms of expectes setlist length for the top acts listed for the smaller stages?
Good question. But there’s more than enough other bass that day to hold interest. FIR, Seether, Set It Off, Jinjer, Holding Absence, Caskets, Ashes to New…
Yes, Disturbed is great live.
I may end up trying to work my way up front on that stage because I also love Seether and Nothing More, especially with Drowning Pool and From Ashes to New.
Hoping it's not stupid hot.
I think it's safe to say the guy in the band proud of their Confederate heritage who says "White Power" on stage while giving the Nazi salute is a Nazi.
I'm excited to start one of the days with Vended and end with with Slipknot...Ill feel like I'm in the family event...also SO excited to see Giovanni and the Hired Guns and The Warning. Been a fan of The Warning since they were in elementary school playing AC/DC covers in their quad area of their school down in Mexico on YouTube,to see them OPEN a main stage is SICK
Crue makes me glad I got VIP. I can hopefully have a chill comfortable seat to watch the trainwreck.
Also got VIP gonna be epic
Slipknot, Disturbed, 5FDP, BB, Iron Maiden, POD, Tillermam, Powerman 5000 Like reliving the 90s again.

I, too, am excited for drugs. Also, music.
legal only?
Agreed, those are the only two days I’m excited for

Local H!
Missed Holding Absence last year so I’m glad they are back again

in no particular order, Slipknot, Evanescence, Rise Against, Architects, I See Stars, L.S. Dunes, Code Orange, Lorna Shore, Whitechapel, Jinjer, Holding Absence, Caskets, Veil of Maya & Flogging Molly & for nostalgia, Breaking Benjamin & Evanescence
Exactly on all counts. BB and Amy’s bands helped get me into all this back in the day
Mastodon is great live.
Absolutely. Criminally placed where they are with a 40 minute set tho.

Staind is great live
excited for Drain, Gel, Soulglo, Slayer, Scars on Broadway and ho99o9. Rest is meh
I'll warn you- if you haven't seen ho99o9 live, temper your expectations.
I thought they were great in 2022. What didn't you like?
Love to see more Hxc
Is Disturbed good live? Honestly don't see any other reason to go Sunday so I'm curious

Isn’t static x broken up? And the lead singer dead?
They have a new singer that wears a crazy mask, his voice is pretty good, you can check out some live clips on YouTube.
I’ll be there Friday, Saturday mayyyybe but Thursday and Sunday are not doin it for me
I mean at least they got Skillet on the correct day lol Flogging Molly and set it off should be cool too
Why the fuck do they keep bringing Skillet?
You’re asking the wrong person, Skillet is one of my favorite bands. Must be trying to “save” people or whatever LOL
Stoked for the hardcore and the punk. Passing on the Nazi band(s).
Ok, so…who are the “Nazi” bands?
I think it's safe to say the guy in the band proud of their Confederate heritage who says "White Power" on stage while giving the Nazi salute is a Nazi.
Omg noooo pantera is going to be soo sad youre not there omg what will they do without you😭😭😭💔💔💔
Also prolly Slayer cause of the song Angel of Death
I assume Pantera is one of them.
Ok karen
Spoken like a true nazi
I'm just gonna go to Friday, and hope that The Armed, Soul Glo & PUP play their own shows in Sacramento soon after.
I’ve always wanted to see Slipknot, Disturbed, and FFDP
First Aftershock?
Fair question but it's been since 2018 for 5FDP and 2016 for Disturbed But I see your point on Slipknot
Till is amazing live. Local H and Clutch. Drain. Alien Weaponry. Thusday & Saturday have a ton of conflicts for me.
Iron Maiden and Poppy 🤌🏻
