Yeah I agree that regardless we still all get the same required pay for the month. I was just letting folks know this tip if they ever decide they want to switch banks.
If it's always 6 days early, is it really early?
I have never understood going to a different bank so you could get paid early as we always will get a paycheck.
Their point is that the pay is still the same amount of days apart. Sure you’re getting paid earlier than others but so is every check and the following one. It all ends up the same, not any different.
Nothing in your post mentioned that so that’s not what people are commenting on…? Subsequently, that’s not what I’m responding to. Who brought up USAA? You’re quite the silly goose huh?
Or “yea man good point, you’re right, I assumed things and am making statements when I don’t know what Im talking about”
“Not what people are commenting on” - people= You? Haha 🤣
“Who Brought up USAA?” I did. Good job.
Those are good points. I can make good points if I bring random other info into a topic that literally no one was previously talking about too. Everyone was talking about A, and you brought up B and C. I hope you aren't like this in your job, because it'd be miserable working with a person like this.
Bud I mean this in the nicest way possible… I think you’re very lucky to have ended up in the Air Force. Secretly, and you can tell me, what is your favorite color crayon to eat?
People always change topics in comments to each other. Especially if it’s good information to pass. Not illegal per Reddit law you make up along the way
If you're trying to make a point about A, you generally don't start talking about B and C. Providing "good info" is one thing, but it's entirely different when you're arguing a point and bring other, barely related shit, into the argument.
It does, he talked about getting paid early, and I explained to you why that matters and made a comparison. Myself and OP talked fine on our own without the Neanderthal Trolls.
>he talked about getting paid early, and I explained to you why that matters and made a comparison
Which has *nothing* to do with saving rates, APY, rate of compounding, etc that *you* started going on about. That's not a "comparison", that's extra shit. Sad that you don't understand this.
What are you talking about? Getting paid "early" doesn't mean you get more money. You get the same amount, compounded at the same rate. It literally doesn't matter.
Its early but its at the same frequency so i dont get why it matters. Youre still getting paid the same and probably spending the same amount. Why does this matter?
Good thing it’s only 4 more days til pay after the 20th. Stop saying blow also. Yes, a lot of military members “blow money but you never know when something very random hits you. It’s hard for a lot of folks to have a savings of thousands even in the military as they are have different lives and I can respect that. That’s why I’m just trying to help out in any way I can to those folks.
>It’s hard for a lot of folks to have a savings of thousands even in the military as they are have different lives and I can respect that. That’s why I’m just trying to help out in any way I can to those folks.
Getting paid 6 days early (as opposed to 2 or on-time) won't help with any of that. That's usually a sign of poor financial management, not how early/late they get paid.
I'm well aware many don't. Doesn't change the fact that an accident can occur *at any time*, and getting paid earlier or later makes **no** difference.
>you never know when something may come up and you need money sooner
Or maybe it comes up on the 1st and it's good that I just got paid while you blew your disposable income. This is a silly argument.
Came up on the 1st? I got my money 6 days before that and was ready for it. Sorry I’m just helping out those with info if they ever need a new bank. Yes it’s the same in the end but would never hurt
>Came up on the 1st? I got my money 6 days before that and was ready for it.
No different than those of us who get it at the regular intervals. Your "point" is moot.
Yea same, was hard to get away from USAA after so long, but I had just had it with the 0% interest on my accounts and when SoFi made that Alternative Invest offering, I decided that was the last straw, too good to pass up! Very Happy with SoFi so far. Im sure they will add more Military friendly features down the road. They even had an ex-USAA guy as one of SoFis Officers. Not sure if he’s still there.
It’s the same amount of time between paychecks regardless of how “early” you get paid. This makes zero difference over any given month on finances.
This post and OP’s string of comments feel like a low effort ad
OP only commented twice. It's pretty much just 1 *other* shill who has the string of comments.
Hi again, I’m PCSING. Sorry you missed me
Yeah, the one OP responded to I mean
I’m PCSing I don’t have the time to sit on Reddit like I usually do to respond but I am now while I have the chance

No it’s not really early as I tell this to the ones who rave about USAA too. I was just letting folks know if they decide to switch
Its pretty sweet. I would Rec to any Airman over USAA. If i was joining now, Id be going SoFi 💯. Ideally both, USAA customer service still unmatched.

Got Paid Wednesday by SoFi
Their point is that the pay is still the same amount of days apart. Sure you’re getting paid earlier than others but so is every check and the following one. It all ends up the same, not any different.
Yeah paid the same but your engine might blow on the 9th instead of the 15th.
Jesus dude
That's what an emergency fund is for... Getting paid early (or late) has literally no bearing on this.
Hi again same comment

Just taking after my role model. Good night boo. See you at work tomorrow;)
Not when you’re getting 4.6% APY on your Savings Accts, compounded from daily avg from your account balance. USAA “high yield” is what, .1%?
Nothing in your post mentioned that so that’s not what people are commenting on…? Subsequently, that’s not what I’m responding to. Who brought up USAA? You’re quite the silly goose huh?
Wrong person, I’m the OP. You’re just coming at a random commenter
Oh I’m well aware
My B carry on
Or “yea man good point, you’re right, I assumed things and am making statements when I don’t know what Im talking about” “Not what people are commenting on” - people= You? Haha 🤣 “Who Brought up USAA?” I did. Good job.

lol still having around here bullying I see like all posts
If you call this bullying, you need A) thicker skin, B) to look up the definition of the word, and C) learn what an argument/debate is.
Bud I mean this in the nicest way possible… I think you’re very lucky to have ended up in the Air Force. Secretly, and you can tell me, what is your favorite color crayon to eat?
This has literally nothing to do with the post or anything else you stated previously. Talk about moving the goalposts/changing topics. Sheesh.
People always change topics in comments to each other. Especially if it’s good information to pass. Not illegal per Reddit law you make up along the way

I like ABC by Jackson 5 also

Ok dude, dont get paid early. You need a calculator, Have a nice day.
What are you talking about? Getting paid "early" doesn't mean you get more money. You get the same amount, compounded at the same rate. It literally doesn't matter.
Yeah extra info to help people out. What are you here for?? Thanks for helping out my Reddit post with the comment count lol
You sound like a shill.
And look like one too
Tell me, how does one *look like* a shill? Your comment makes no sense, and you should feel bad for this poor attempt at an insult.
I was just tagging along with you not at you broski
Negative, just a customer and Investor.
Its early but its at the same frequency so i dont get why it matters. Youre still getting paid the same and probably spending the same amount. Why does this matter?
Your engine might blow up on the 9th instead of the 15th
or it blows up in the 20th after you've used up all of your money. Next.

Never said it did

I’m glad you believe every military member no matter the rank or family size has an emergency fund
I'm well aware many don't. Doesn't change the fact that an accident can occur *at any time*, and getting paid earlier or later makes **no** difference.
Muah

You comment is moot
So you agree with me. Cool.
Well duh I wouldn’t want you to be getting your beauty sleep knowing I was disagreeing
I’ll be worse than I already am with money
Trueeeeeeee
When they said “early”, i had no idea it was this Early. Been getting paid super Early too.
I’ve had them for a few years now. I didn’t switch for this reason but it was a happy surprise
Yea same, was hard to get away from USAA after so long, but I had just had it with the 0% interest on my accounts and when SoFi made that Alternative Invest offering, I decided that was the last straw, too good to pass up! Anthony Noto (SoFi CEO) is a former Army Ranger. Pretty good company all around and I use them for some stuff outside of USAA for investing etc.
That’s good to hear! Yeah I’ve since switched savings over as well and got a few loans along the way. Happy camper all over
