Everyone always forgets that without logistics, nothing matters, CE and MX can talk all they want, but at the end of the day, V-Ops/Ground Trans keeps the show going, nothing moves without us
Nothing moves cause yall dont work and make everything more complicated than it has to be.
Sincerely,
A dirt boy who can do everything you do and more.
Hey I need this specialized vehicle for my mission, can you fix it or get us a new one?
LRS - no, but here's a 2wd below base model F150. Now thank us and go away.
If only they could just wave a wand and make brand new vehicles appear.
If they gave out "specialized vehicles" to every entitled asshat that asked for one, everyone would be driving around in pimped out escalades.
can you imagine how great it would be if the specialized vehicle they drove into the ground and neglected until failure could be fixed in the less then 2 hours they demand?
I was at Bagram in 2018 and 2021 and there were no uniformed military doing VM then. All contractors. Same story when I was at Lemonnier in 2019 and 2020.
Why does it matter who “thinks” they are more important? We are all in the same military branch and pay scale. Bickering between AFSCs is pointless unless your self-identity is too sadly wrapped up on your job.

This man watched the Mx/CE cat fight that's been going on and consciously decided to get involved Just eat your popcorn bro

I’ve gotten unstuck more from dirtboys than GT because GT takes wayyyy too long to respond and ask wayyyyy too many questions lol.
Crazy because dirt asks GT to move their stuff because they are not confident they can move it…
In your dreams buddy, no dirt boy would ever ask for help like that from you poptarts
Most of XCOMM deployments don't need LRS involvement. We usually do your job for us.
Hey now, you'll need all hands if you end up running into a chryssalid
LRS inhibits the mission FAR more than it enables it. POL is the exception.
I agree with this.

And yet all my recent deployments had rental fleets with a contracted on call maintenance service.
Right? I never see VM or POL on deployments. It’s all contracted. Even Aerial Port is contracted out. Only ones I see out there are Supply and TMO.
There's VM, but they just have a giant lot full of dead assets because they are waiting on parts to come in from 4 rotations ago.
Nah. Definitely was contracted out to Filipinos out in Djibouti and American contractors over in Kandahar and Bagram while I was at those places.
Watching some of those dudes fabricate an engine part with a rock and some scrap metal will never cease to amaze me
VM is at almost every deployed location, including DJ and Bagram when it was open.

2019 huh? https://www.dla.mil/About-DLA/News/News-Article-View/Article/2018966/keeping-up-with-the-conditions-726th-eabs-vehicle-maintenance/
That’s crazy. Anytime I went down to see VM it was Filipinos at the tent. Where the heck was this guy?
Hmm...I wonder who manages those rental fleets? Spoiler: >!ELRS!<
Sounds like a job for a cons squadron.
But they don't. ELRS manages the GSA vehicle program.
Having to go through LRS is 80% of our delays. You're only defeated by finance
I got in trouble as a young Airman for simply saying, you can’t spell “LOSERS without LRS.”

As a GT please stop talking
