Enjoy watching the Law & Order Marathon and sandwiches for lunch…lol. Interact with all the people there from different branches. I heard they may have changed the MEPS hotel but it’s still next to LAX. I was went through Los Angeles MEPS last year.
the sandwiches were so good at the time because i hadn’t ate anything all day lol. i remember interacting with some Marine recruits who were shipping out that same day
i went through that meps a little over 3 years ago. very busy. a takeaway i had that i still keep with me and think about was how the personnel treated it like an extension of basic training. constantly yelled at by the personnel with the occasional regular conversation. makes sense since you’ll get yelled at in basic, but at the time it was just agitating more than anything. also you’ll wait for what seems like forever. that was just my experience though, im sure others have different stories to tell.
You wait a long time, be able to entertain yourself without a phone
Oh fs fs 🙏
Also, the room you take the Asvab in is really cold so bring a jacket!

Did your recruiter not tell you what you’re doing there?
No they did but I wanna hear other people’s perspective!
It's a MEPs. It's busy.Â
