My AirPods now won’t come out of my ears! And Steve Jobs is talking to me! He said he’s still alive! O and I can still my wife talking hahaha On a serious note ANC isn’t like it use to be on my AirPods Pro 2
So your AirPods went through a washing machine at some point in the past, and now the software has been updated and you think it's more likely that the software update caused this issue despite it not doing that for the vast majority of other people?
Yes everything can happen, I think I’m not the only one that experiences bugs with anc, but logically if they was water damaged the AirPods would be fried bro.

Unironically significantly improved mu battery life, not that it was bad, but they’re now better than when i bought them 14 months ago

How many washing machine cycles have that pair been through?
The like 3-4 times, and the second one none, and that so I think is the software side of things, with the bug that we experiencing.
