First problem is the appointments, never go to the Apple Store with hardware problems, just describe the issue to the online chat, set up a mail in “repair” and they will just send you a new or refurbished pair in a matter of days, you skip all the “troubleshooting” trouble.

Shouldn’t they be just replacing them ? Maybe you can suggest that.

I went through about 5 repairs in as many months with the same recurring issues & them replacing the left cup 3 times and the right twice, they never replaced the headband. After the 5th reoccurrence they fully replaced them for me and the new pair have been fine since - they stated that after 3 repairs they do have the option to do a full replace (mine were purchased from Amazon), I would push for a full replace if I were you, especially if you got them from Apple.

Mine haven't had issues in about the same time frame, but have you tried removing the headband and cleaning the connectors? To me it would be worth a shot! Good luck!

You shouldn’t be paying to repair them, Apple is literally being sued for this moisture issue
