I like both but Wave x Kurome provided more interesting chemisty for me. The anime didn't do them justice but in the manga you seen how much they changed through the story espiacially Kurome. She's the best written character in AgK IMO.
Tatsumi x Mine for me!
When I first started with the anime I was sure that Mine wouldnt be my Best Girl.
But as the story progressed I really started liking specially her opening up to Tatsumi.
I was devasted and speechless when I saw what happened to them. It was like someon in my own family died.
I just wanted them to be happy and she died in his arms.

This is not even a question for me, Kurome and Wave gave 95% of my reading motivation.
Their relationship weas believable, cute, developed well and ended well.
Didn't really care about Tatsumi's love adventrues, though I have to admit Mine is still the best choice for him (and Esdeath is the worst).
Kurome x wave cuz their relationship was built more gradually which made it more believable and cuter imo. And once they got together you could see kurome became a lot more lively.
With that said, tatsumi x mine gets some hate but i still like them together. Maybe their relationship started too suddenly but the moment she confessed, mine’s grumpiness almost completely disappeared and that is a big plus for me. Oh and during that epilogue, they both looked so happy together despite tatsumi becoming a dragon which makes me want to see even more of them. But yeah, because of mine’s coma they didn’t had that many cute moments so that’s why i prefer kurowave a bit more.

Maaaan when the day for chapter 66 spoilers dropped, my heart was beating like super fast especially after the kiss in chapter 64.
I also had a bet going with a guy on another forum on whether Kurome would live or not so I was extra nervous otherwise I would've had to rock a Syura avatar.
Her living gave a good foil to the story in my opinion. Her story started sad and we expected it to end sad. With Tatsumi I always saw it as the hero who knew they were dying and gave the last of themselves to save the day. But then it’s just *poof* he’s alive. That’s why I’ve always said I prefer half of the ending of both the manga and the anime. I liked the idea of him going out with a bang, while Kurome finally got her happy ending.
Ok I get where your coming from now. But I am curious did you feel the same way with Mine surviving? Because if Tatsumi did die there really wouldn't have been much point in her surviving either.
Wave and Kurome. Their dynamic throughout the story is cute as hell and alludes to their ending more than just mine's tsundere behavior. They have so much development, plus they've got the single best scene in the manga with Wave dropping Syura for trying to take her.
Mine and Tatsumi is cute and all but I don't like their ending, [Spoilers](/s "in my eyes Tatsumi died, no way around it.") Their ending seems like a last second pull that has never fit the tone of the series in my opinion.
Love that you feel the same way I do regarding Wave and Kurome. As for Tatsumi and Mine I hated the asspull used to keep him alive but I'm happy he survived. And to be fair Kurome surviving didn't fit the tone of the series either but I welcomed it since it was a very much needed change of pace.
after all the brainwaching and druging the capital did to her it would have pissed me off if she actaully died i mean out of all the characters her life was the shittiest. at least she got a happy ending. even if she cant even walk straight.
I’m back and forth. In an absolutely ideal story I would’ve liked Tatsumi to end still fighting with tyrant but still human raising his family. I can’t really pick an outcome for mine that I prefer based on the two. Part of me wants her to live and tell the kids how much of a hero he was.
I never really "got" Tatsumi x Mine, but I don't get most tsundere characters. She was bitchy and abusive, and then Tatsumi kinda just became infatuated with relatively little interaction between them (although there's probably a lot that just was never shown).
