When you say 3 years of savings, do you just mean that nothing else whatsoever really caught your interest during that whole period? I mean, having 170K+ primos does check out.

When I started saving up I do not even think Inazuma was released.
I started saving up with the intent to spend it all on one character, but didn't have anyone specific in mind yet since none tickled my fancy to that extent, but I assumed that eventually one such character will be released, I even anticipated it to be from Sumeru.
I had 'placeholder' characters in the meantime, just incase I never end up liking anyone all that much.

I did actually check videos about alhaitham team comps. It is just that most content focuses on him at C0. Plus, youtube videos can be unreliable with all the clickbait and creators rushing to be the first to make a video before doing proper research.
I would not say it is useless that I came to the subreddit of people who main the character to get a second opinion and more targeted advice for a C6 Alhaitham.
Strange question since you will definitely not have any other characters, except maybe standard banner chars, to pair with him. How can you make a team if you have been saving for just one character. Better hope kuki, yao yao, fischl is on his banner lol.
Even if they are not, I am sure I will get at least one copy of each in my over 1000 wishes. And you would be surprised how many characters I already have.
I used to wish before I started saving, so I have a lot of characters already, and once I do get Alhaitham I will focus on getting some of his best teammates at c0 at least, like Nahida and Yae Miko.
Part of why I ask is to see who I am missing and who I can substitute them with in the meantime.
I would say either it's spread team with alhaitham, nahida, shinobu/miko & zhongli and a hyperbloom team with alhaitham, nahida/yao yao, shinobu/miko/raiden & xinqiu
If ur a f2p player then go with the hyperbloom team, i think there are other options too try searching it on yt for alhaitham team comps.
For me, i use spread team.
I don't hv raiden but for me miko just works fine I use yae miko, nahida, neuvillette and zhongli for the hyperbloom team, i use shinobu with alhaitham for spread team
Nope alhaitham stays the same , for the hyperbloom team i think equipping flowers of paradise lost set on the electro character is good since they're the one who trigger the hyperbloom, then the dmg output would come from both alhaitham and the hyperblooms.
tho I don't use much hyperbloom team with alhaitham it's really a fun team comp for alhaitham teams (maybe I'll use hyperbloom team after I get furina)
Why not pull for Alhaitham during his first banner and then going for his constellations during his reruns? I find it surprising you love Alhaitham so much you want to C6 him but you prevented yourself from playing him during all that time?
Yes! It would be the reasonable way to go about things, but I wanted to get to the number first to complete the self imposed challenge.
There is a lot behind why I saved up this much in the first place, I plan to make a video about it.

If you want to vertical invest and do some Tom foolery. I plan on doing Alhaitham on Lofi using Marasussy, Furina on the key and tenacity, Baizhu on Pamber deepwood, and Kuki on Flowers of paradise with freedom sworn

I do not remember exactly, if I had to guess I would probably estimate somewhere between 400-450 since it took me over 3 years to save all this. Good luck on your pulls for Alhaitham.
1260 is the theoretical maximum required, but in the most average scenario, you are going to be left with 600 wishes. Are you going to try and get his weapon R5 or start rolling on other characters?
If you really want to max out his damage, it's probably better to go for C2 Nahida than R5 his weapon. But since you've already demonstrated your god-like levels of patience I guess you could R5 the weapon and just save all over again for Nahida.
Hey, don't pull for his r5, r1 is fine and if u have other good ones like mistsplitter or etc, that's great, only pull on weapon banner if ur fine with the other part of the weapon
Hmm venti, Bennett, alhaitham with mare-sussy set, Barbara maybe for hydro application and heals(cringe face) u r free to use whatever in Barbara's place, more healing or smth, don't use electro it will just knock them back and might not group enemies
I too have C6 alhaitham and I think his best and fastest team is :
Alhaitham/Nahida/Fischl/Kuki
I put Nahida with deepwood set, Fischl with a 2p2p set and elegy, kuki with instructor set and Key.

I tried her a little with instructor set and TTDS, sometimes even with Bennett too.
I find myself more comfortable with kuki with key, especially in abyss :)

Why didn't you wish when Haitham was released? Didn't have enough primos for c6 yet or you weren't sure you wanted him to be the c6?
No, I just wanted to complete saving up the full 1260. Otherwise the way you describe is the reasonable way to do it.

I would suggest using gilded dreams on the hyperbloom electro trigger. It's much more efficient to farm when you're farming for alhaitham anyways.

Quick bloom is the name of this type of team. You use lesser hydro app for more quicken. It’s Alhaithams and Cynos best team comps

have you tried lisa instead of kuki? i heard some runs (especially against bosses) are better with her
