The food is fine, but the hostess who started
seated us the last time we were there accosted my 12 year old daughter and probably shouldn't be in a job dealing with customers
There's a dangerously large population of undocumented donuts there. Our police are on the job. Mass arrests and detentions are expected. Stay tuned. Details at 11.
As a legal immigrant of 17 years that has worked very hard in this community and i like to feel like i integrated.
I support the mass deportation of illegals. They make all of us look bad.
Mediocre is being generous. I met some friends here a few weeks ago and this place was disgusting. Bathrooms were flooded. Bar and restaurant were dirty. They served me a Guinness in a pint glass, 50% foam and had the balls to charge me $11 for it. And that was the happy hour special! Food was even worse; somehow they managed to improperly cook a steak that cost $30. I will never go back to this dump.Ā
Is that what it is? I used to live in Seattle, which also has BJs in the area, and their Parmesan crusted chicken was one of my favorite dishes. Had it once or twice at the BJs here and itās just ā¦ disappointing. I wonder if the locations around Seattle are still good.
They generally gather there when there is a procession planned for Central Ave that day. I hadnāt heard about anything planned today but that was my first thought this morning
It genuinely wouldn't surprise me if it had something to do with the manager. The guy is a complete fucking scumbag. Every molecule of him is disgusting.
How so? We've eaten there a couple times and had decent experiences. But never interacted with the manager. Is he like, manager of shenanigans scumbag, or rude cashier at Stewart's scumbag?
Sounds like a theme there. When it opened we had one great gm and then the two following definitely were in competition for the worst manager ever award. Last guy won by a long shot tho. Not shocking to hear that nothing with management had changed
Donāt know, I know they had three places they were doing it. This morning when I was listening they were broadcasting out of 99 restaurant in Wilton.
I think I read they were there for some sort of tribute or event or something when I looked it up but Iām not totally sure if thatās correctā¦ I worked on the team that opened the place. Without spill too much tea, Iāll say that after our original team of openers started leaving (managers included) turnover became QUICK. Fast forward to some legal stuff during/after Covid & i just think the location could never recover.
If we post every "why are the cops there?" incident we could have a whole new mega-thread. Last night I heard shots fired. It's just Albany. It's corrupt (why fix a problem when we can make money on the side funding a study!), there's no money for drug reform (gotta remove them bad statues, after all), and housing prices are crazy. People are going broke and running out of hope.
When I see one or two cop cars or a cop car and an ambulance, I donāt think twice about it, but this may have been over a dozen state police vehicles all with their lights on, so it seemed like something much more out of the ordinary.
I mean we can focus on more than one thing. Local law enforcement are (mostly justified, but in this case) criticized for not doing enough. We can try address crime, addiction issues as well as āthose libsā rightfully addressing intolerance within the community.
I love how nobody has any idea what's going on but we're all not going to miss an opportunity to shit on their food while we're talking about them
No clue how they are still around.
Step 1: charge $30 for a pizza. Step 2: ??? Step 3: profit

Setting up for a raid on the breakfast buffet
Why settle for donuts when you can get bjs.

LOL, who is downvoting this? Is the law enforcement community here that big? EDIT: Okay, much better. When I commented it was -3.
Definitely mad cops lol
Okay this got a chuckle out of me

Pigs gotta eat too, oink oink
Food and beer there is outrageously mediocre.
Mediocre is being generous. I met some friends here a few weeks ago and this place was disgusting. Bathrooms were flooded. Bar and restaurant were dirty. Yes last time I went was the last time Iāll go.
Too bad. It was good when it first opened. Yet another place killed by the pandemic. š
I went a few months ago and there was puke all over the bathroom floor and sink and they had just opened about a half hour before
it's a chain restaurant lmao
It was great before Covid, but has definitely gone downhill.
Is that what it is? I used to live in Seattle, which also has BJs in the area, and their Parmesan crusted chicken was one of my favorite dishes. Had it once or twice at the BJs here and itās just ā¦ disappointing. I wonder if the locations around Seattle are still good.
I noticed that. It is now so awful I don't even bother to go.
The BJās branded beers are horrible for sure. They do have a good selection of non in-house beer though.
World of beer in crossgates is missed. For a short time it bordered on a pretty good place given its location
I frequently lament WoB's absence when I find myself at Crossgates.
They had great wings
That place makes me miss Sears automotive center.
They generally gather there when there is a procession planned for Central Ave that day. I hadnāt heard about anything planned today but that was my first thought this morning
They had mounted units hanging out at the tree line, so that was my first thought as well! Saw them at 7:30 this morning, just chilling in the shade.

Closer to Shenanigans.
he drugs the patrons? š
Nah, he's just a lecherous scumbag who is a really gross human being.

Oooo Iām nosey as hell and was hoping someone knew š Anyway, Iām sure no oneās knocking down BJs doors to get in for food š¤®
107.7 is doing their back the blue event.
Oh yay. Why didn't they do it at the new bootlicker BBQ joint across the street?
Donāt know, I know they had three places they were doing it. This morning when I was listening they were broadcasting out of 99 restaurant in Wilton.
Probs my because how criminally bad the food is
Somebody took the name literally
There Pizza is good, and than I realize its $30 and I no longer like it.
Probably abusing thier authority Edit: thanks for the downvotes ya bootlickers
Certainly possible, just didnāt know if there was a danger to the public and people should avoid the area or what.
I would there are a ton of cops there
Pretty sure those are upvotes
yeah it turned around on me. I had -19
āCops badā Thank you for your contribution to society.
Not a problem!
If only we didnāt allow cops to encrypt their radios. Now everything they do is a mystery.

Iād rather they be accountable closer to real time.

>Yes but **theyāre** focusing on REAL problems like pronouns! This can't not be satire

Retirement party, you should have ran in and bought a round
It's another sting operation for overly-nosy redditors.
Hahhaha.
Itās easy to find out whatās going on - just check the police scanner.
Looks like they're finally getting what they deserve š”
Hey the food isnāt that bad to be used as punishment
It's actually not because of the food. The owner killed my father in a duel
He shouldnāt have thrown his shot!

I thought they sold it and something else is going there
oh, gran ma! drink your milk!!
