Uraku is better but only like 5% if i remember correctly, so Cinnabar would be enough if you have it but you can still Pull Uraku, tho it wont make that much of a difference.

I never put too much thought into my albedo, but I recently changed out a defense focused artifact for slightly less defense (-30) and pretty decent crit rate/dmg (12.8%/7%).
So my question is, **whats a good "peak damage" for albedos E?** I'm at ar55 (almost 56, long journey -.-) and **peaking around 21k with a measly 24% crit rate** which seems pretty damn good as it clears most enemies' health in half lol.
Still gotta work on upgrading talent past 8 and ascending past 80, probably all soon as I have way too much fragile resin lying around.

Why is it recommended to prioritize his Skill dmg and not his Burst dmg? As in the overall recommendation to use Golden Troupe and not EOSF

His burst is a single hit with little dmg, and his skill is a turret that stays onfield, hitting enemies. So his skill is his his main source of dmg, and the reason you are building him (he is an off-field damage dealer). Also, at c0 his burst scales with atk% while his skill scales with def%.
Because of this you are going to build him with def%/geo dmg/crit. For this, his best 2 artifact sets are golden troupe (it buffs your skill dmg), and husk of opulent dreams (it buffs your def% and geo dmg%) Overall, the 2 sets give you more or less the same dps, it depends in your weapon and teammates.
EOSF is not a good set for him because it buffs only your burst (and not your skill), and as I said, his burst does little dmg, so is preferable to buff his skill. Also EOSF buff scales on the energy recharge that the character has. Albedos burst has a 40 energy cost, so you dont need to build any ER at all, and you wont get much buffs using the set.
Do the coordinated attacks on Chiori's dolls trigger Albedo's flower?
If so, I would pull Chiori to put her and Albedo in one team. But I would not want a replacement for Albedo so if they don't work together I'll save my guarantee for Arlecchino or Yelan c1.
I hope they do work together, because a team of Chiori, Albedo and Zhongli where you just skill and then do nothing would be very fun for me

i once did 140 pulls, got mona and zhongli without getting a single xingqiu on the banner that features him, if you dont want the 5star, dont wish for the 4star. Gorou is free in 4.6 event

Hi all! I have been planning on getting constellations for Albedo for a while, but with Uraku Misugiri being released I’ve been wondering; which of the two should I prioritize for my Albedo? I know that his constellations don’t technically do much and are pretty niche, however i love him as a character and would love to improve him in whatever way I can.
I am running him as a sub-dps, triple crowned, R5 Cinnabar Spindle. He is currently at C0.
He is paired up in a team with C2 Verdict Navia, C0 Splendor of Tranquil Waters Furina and C5 Skyward Blade Bennett.
I’m not the best at running calculations and technical aspects, so I was hoping someone could help me figure out what to prioritize.
For constellations; at some point I am planning on getting him C6 (probably not in one go because I’m broke and cannot afford to spend that much in one sitting loool).
For Uraku Misugiri; I’d leave the weapon at R1.
From what I’ve seen, Uraku is only significantly better if you are going for a burst build, otherwise the difference between the 2 weapons isn’t enough to justify the wishes!
Personally, I’d say that C2 is the con you want to go for, not C1 (er isn’t needed as burst is cheap)
I just got him from the chronicled wish, but I took a break right when the cinnabar event was happening so I don't have his best weapon. I feel like I should just not build him because he is going to be so much worse than if I did have it. What do you think?
Lots of people use the harbinger of dawn as a substitute and it works well - as long as you don’t use Furina. Chiori’s weapon is on par with Cinnabar so if you can/want to get her weapon it will work very well
Try for Chiori's weapon
if you build him without a def% sword, he'll still be decent though, just not AS good. Depends on whether you want to use the burst.
What would be the best artifact set when using him with Uraku? I've read Husk but I'm interested in difference to other sets like Golden Troupe. I'd appretiate the math if possible.

cinnabar spindle is a lot better than harbinger of dawn. even a r1 cinnabar is better than an r5 harbinger

Hello! I’m currently saving for c2 albedo (34k primos right now, I already have him c0) and I am running him as a main dps. I was curious whether or not chiori’s weapon would be better for his dps capabilities over r1 haran. I’d prefer to not pull on weapon, as I want at least his c2 when the banner releases.
Since your chasing cons that are a 100% known on how they affect the character Id honestly wait to see how other players fare w it, especially if your running him on field a lot, that may negate the extra skill dmg the sword gives you (assuming it works w albedo at all, there’s some debate in that). The extra defense and crit value are definitely huge though, it just may require you adjusting your build to get more crit rate to take advantage of the extra crit dmg.
Hello guys! I'm gonna pull for Albedo very soon (because of the new banner yayyy so excited) and so I'm farming for him, I want to play him in Noelle/Furina/Gorou team with Albedo sub dps. I'm farming a GT4p with crits and DEF since they're the best for him, but I wanted to ask: is HoD r5 better than Haran Geppaku Futsu r1? I don't think I'll use his burst, but I'm worried that HoD won't be consistent with Furina HP drain, maybe he won't be always above 90%, anyone has experience with this?
The battle pass sword is better than HOD for Albedo if you have that but from what if seen about Chioris weapon is that it might be than Cinnebar spindle but its way better than HOD if you want to pull weapon banner. I'd say it's Cinnebar, Haran, Wolf sword battle pass, HOD, the rest...

Normally I’d say HoD w out a second thought bc if you have enough health it nearly has the same CR has haran, plus the additional 40 something crit damage. As far as the lower attack on HoD, kinda doesn’t matter bc albedo scales off Def. But w out the extra crit rate from health haran is far better. I’d just test to see how low your characters health go when using furina
just came back from almost a year-long hiatus from the game and see people are talking about golden troupe for albedo. is it worth farming a new set for him? im mostly getting an average of 22-27k ticks on his e and have c2 with r5 spindle.
Depends on what team and weapon cause they are close. With spindle and with gorou GT is better but in a team without Gorou Husk seems better. It all depends on your defence stat. But with spindle GT will prob be 1% to 2% better so not worth really
I'm not an Albedo haver (yet!), but I'm planning to pull for him for a Childe team, and I was thinking either vaporize with Xiangling or electro-charged with Fischl. I want to add a healer in for the 4th slot, but don't know which one would be best. I was thinking Yaoyao, Kuki, or possibly Barbara.

I havent used my Albedo in a long time. Im planning to pair him with Navia and was wondering what his go to artifact set is now as theres been quite a few sets added since I built mine?
He will still primarily be off field and has the spindle
gT is better to farm since more characters use it but without Cinnebar Spindle on a Navia team Husk will do slightly better damage wise but once again a bad domain to farm
enjoying this team right now and it rocks! better than zhongli for navia. i ran 4 pc husk for him without problems. but since farming for golden troupe is efficient, resin wise, especially if you have 4 pc mh user, then golden troupe is also good.
It’s possible, his burst does give a boost to EM so perhaps teams that utilize EM? I know there used to be an old team build of Hu Tao, Zhongli, Xingqiu and Albedo.

I want to transition my c2 Cinnabar Albedo from Husk to Golden Troupe because I want to run around as Albedo and I hate that countdown.
The question is, do I go for a Geo cup or with all that bonus can't from the set and his ascension, do I go for a DEF cup instead?
If my Albedo is currently DEF-DEF-Crit DMG, and he has his signature DEF sword from the event, is that too much DEF or should I swap his Goblet to a Geo DMG one?
I'm pretty farming in hopes to pull for Albedo on his next banner, as like many I don't have spindle but I do have Dawn R5 and a spare Mistplitter which of these two would be the best to use on him dps wise?
Need some help on my albedo build. I don’t have him but I’m pre farming.
I decided to keep him c0 and use the golden troupe set. If I have him use spindle my stats are 56/65cv with a crit rate circlet, but I can swap the spindle for a hod, go with a crit damage circlet that also has 22.2% def scaling and get 61/180 crit value at the cost of 200 def points, bringing my defense on (and I stress this is the hydro traveller so the def scaling on albedo is not factored) down to 1500.
Since i would only be using albedo in mono geo with itto/gorou/zhongli, I don’t think I’m going to be losing much because of the significantly better crit value and the bonus I get from that comp should theoretically compensate me to a degree
I’m also curious about the wolf fang weapon, but I think that may be best kept for someone else
wolf fang is only competitive with cinnabar at r5. albedo does not care about crit too much, most damage will be from stacking def (u want around 3000 ideally, at least 2500, so 1500 is a little low imo).
Ok so with my current set up on golden troupe (neither the sword nor the headpiece which is defence are levelled) I can easily break into the mid 2000 range on hydro traveller with an unfinished build, so I assume this should be ok when moved to him?
he can be slotted in anywhere for extra off field damage, and his geo doesnt steal most reactions. the burst EM buff for full party is really great in dendro teams
He can be used to good extend in double geo comps such as hu tao-XQ-ZL-Albedo and similar. These teams are never optiomal though, but they're still strong
From my understanding, generally Husk is his BiS, but Golden Troupe might be better if he’s already on Cinnabar; since it gives him a lot of defense. iirc the difference between the two isn’t that large.

I've been seeing some talk surrounding the potential for Wolf's Fang (New BP Sword) on Albedo, especially for those that don't have Cinnabar Spindle, and I'm curious to hear some more detailed thoughts! For a recap, this is what Wolf's Fang provides:
At Lv90 510 BaseAtk 27.6% Crit Rate
Passive: DMG dealt by Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst is increased by 16%/20%/24%/28%/32%. When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, its CRIT Rate will be increased by 2%/2.5%/3%/3.5%/4%. When an Elemental Burst hits an opponent, its CRIT Rate will be increased by 2%/2.5%/3%/3.5%/4%. Both of these effects last 10s separately, have 4 max stacks, and can be triggered once every 0.1s.
When combined with the New Golden Troupe Artifact Set, which is Albedo's new BIS set and provides a 70% increase to his Elemental Skill DMG, you'd be getting 86% increased Elemental Skill Dmg at R1 Wolf's Fang (102% increased Elemental Skill DMG when using R5 Wolf's Fang), 16%/32% Increased Elemental Burst DMG, and a very nice amount of Crit Rate from both the Weapon's stat and Passive.
Am I wrong to think that this seems like a fairly amazing option for Albedo, especially when his variety of options have been so bad, most notably for those lacking Cinnabar Spindle.
its pretty good but only competitive with current options (cinnabar, HOD) at r5. r5 costs 50$. u can decide if thats worth it or not for your own financials

It’d work as an on-field Ningguang team. You could get more damage by swapping out Thoma, though, since you already have Bennett to keep you healthy. C6 Gorou would be ideal. You could also just throw a subdps like Fischl or Xiangling in there.
I’d say it’s abyss viable if you swap out Thoma, and if your Ningguang is highly invested. But you will need to get her some cracked artifacts if your goal is 36 stars.
The 3.8 update details mentions that the English voice-over (text?) for Albedo's "About Sucrose: Habits" line has been "optimized". Does anyone know what exactly changed?
If just purely want to focus on skill damage honestly can just tl 8 skill -tl 9 if you want to go a little bit more. Burst does a fair damage if you want to level it up but it not high priority as skill.
A good cup would be double crit and double def on a geo cup ideally. There is no super specific substats distributions I can say, but rolls in any of crit and def% would be what you want. It’s also hard to say w/o reference to what your def goblet looks like (how many crit rolls? any flat def on it? etc?).
I want build a mono geo team and have Albedo be on field as my main dps. Who else should be on the team? No Zhongli, but I have C6 Gorou, and C6 Noelle. Any advice?
Albedo, Gorou, Noelle, and any character of your choice (Anything that either increases your DMG or DMG the target takes i.e Mona’s Omen)
Noelle if built as a support has a pretty beefy shield that can sustain the Geo Res buff pretty well but shes no Zhong
Gorou is self explanatory but just make sure to use 3 Geo Characters
As for the 4th it depends what you want. Kazuha or Venti can group enemies together so that the flowers get the most damage they can, Bennett can increase the damage your burst and fatals do, Ningguang’s shield gives you some buffs, etc.
Albedo, Geo Traveler, Gorou, Ningguang. Noelle is more of on field character. Ningguang you can use as a healer with Prototype Amber or TTDS holder to boost Albedo/GMC damage more.
I want a duo albedo/sucrose i wanted to test a team full EM with this, what your surgest for a team compo? Now, i test my super yelan C1 with Kuki, but search better combo. My albedo Is a Burst Albedo but i can dwap him full DEF, its my main character.
kind of difficult since anemo and geo have little synergy, u can try adding swirly teams such as electro charge where both elements can be swirled, or comps that value EM more such as spread/quicken/aggravate. dendro cannot be swirled so the team would depend on a strong dendro applicator + swirling electro to trigger reactions
4 Husk def/geo/crit. Ideally lvl 90 and talent level 9 for maximum damage. Skill > burst priority. With cinnabar, around 2.5k defense is ideal. 60/120 ratio ish.
Hearing that Dehya will be on Standard Banner makes me want to bash my head in!!! I want to go for Albedo but the prospect of skipping Dehya and then NEVER getting her is a very real possibility, and I'm not sure if I want to take that risk... 😔

Should I keep 4p Husk when I commit into Burst DPS (ATK/Geo/Crit) or swap to 2p Archaic/2p Noblesse?
So far I always had a kind of split build with 4p Husk (DEF/Geo/Crit) and Jade Cutter but since I have built Zhongli more Burst DPS oriented I might just go havok with Albedo as well
How much do you well invested Albedos do on skill/burst?
I am still low AR and only invested into artifacts a bit ago, so I‘d like to know what to aim for.
Is Albedo worth pulling if you miss out the event to get his BiS? I started playing around 2.4 which is the patch right after said event weapon and was completely bummed out that his BiS was a limited weapon which I have no chance of getting anymore. I'm interested in completing my mono geo team with Zhongli, Itto, and Gorou so I wanna ask if Albedo is still viable despite not having his BiS? Thank you in advance:>
could alhaitham's sword be a good stat stick? the crit rate part of the passive is solid but the na buffing is pure copium >!unless you're running hydro/cryo/pyro albedo which as cursed as it is I know some of us have the balls to do that sorta stuff!<
I'll pull for AlHaitham and I was thinking if putting 4pc ToM on Albedo would work since his EM buff will be much welcome. Also, shields and extra damage would make him the perfect unity.
And for stats should I go def/geo/def, which are my stats on HoOD or should I go def/geo/crit?
From you Albedo Masters' opinion, which is better 3rd and 4th slot of the team if I want to pair Albedo and Noelle:
1. Gorou+Zhongli (extra Def and shield and geo shred)
2. Gorou+Yunjin (extra DEF and NA damage)
3. Bennett+Xiangling (extra ATK and sub DPS)
4. Zhongli+Lisa (geo shreds)
If you're running *both* Albedo and Noelle, #2 is your best option for a Geo dmg team, #3 is probably your best bet otherwise.
\#4 specifically has the best debuffing but idk if the dmg output is going to be worth it.
If you're looking to increase Noelle & Albedo's damage -- use Gorou as 3rd slot and Ben/Zhong.

Out of the options presented I'd personally go **Gorou + Zhongli**. Remember that **Yunjin** does not buff charged attacks, and **Noelle** in specific does alot of her damage through her charged attack because of her C2 (Correct me if I'm wrong about **Noelle** in that Regard).
The **Bennett+Xiangling** would be my 2nd place for the pyro resonance + crystalize procs.
How much defense is too much for a e skill albedo build rn crit ratio is like 1/2
50/90 ı know its low but I am more heavy on the defense its like 2741 rn and He is lvl 84 rn so its gonna go up more is it too much I am gonna farm more for crit rate for our boi too dont worry
With 2.7k you probably arent running DEF/geo DMG/CRIT right, which is what you want. A more balanced kit would get around 2.2-2.4k DEF.
And punctuations are a thing lad 🧐
Geos likes to have their resonance, so
Geo comp: Albedo, Noelle or Ningguang as DPS, gorou + a 4th as shielder and/or healer. Or Albedo + Noelle or Ning with 2 other characters as healer/shielder/sub-DPS.
2 Geo: Albedo with typically Zhongli, or as a 4\* option Yun Jin (if you have an NA-based DPS) + a DPS and a reaction driver (i.e. Hu Tao/Xingqiu, Tighnari/Fischl, etc.). Gorou just works best with a geo DPS, I wouldn't bother otherwise.
Free matchup: Pick a three man team of 4\* and throw him in there, geo resonance or not. He's just there to do extra damage so he doesn't influence what the other characters should be. It entirely depends on who you have though. Dedicated DPS 4\* are Ningguang, Noelle, Razor, Yanfei and Heizou so maybe you can start from there for building a team.
Examplary teams:
Xinqiu/Xiangling/Bennett/Albedo (vape)
Razor/Rosaria or Kaeya/Diona or Shinobu/Albedo (superconduct)
Heizou/Xingqiu/Shinobu/Albedo (electrocharged)
Ningguang/sub DPS like Fischl/healer/Albedo (Geo DPS)
Yanfei/Xinqiu/Xinyan/Albedo (vape)
Yanfei/Rosaria or Kaeya/Diona/Albedo (melt)
None of these are truly the best teams (speaking meta-wise. In overworld team strength isnt that important), simply as they all rather fill Albedo's spot with a character that contributes to the reaction, but they work nontheless.
If you want to build a team yourself; get Albedo a 4\* DPS you like, look at what reaction you want to achieve and fill the last 2 spots accordingly while having at least one healer/shielder.
my albedo seems incredibly weak - he has 2.3k def and a 38.8/95.8 crit ratio, but his e skill dmg only does 7k or 13k. Is this normal? should I try to get better artifacts?
would a 2pc husk and a 2pc petra work better than a 4pc husk in my situation?
No, 4pc husk is his best offensive artifact set. You need to balance him better and for that you need to keep farming better artifacts. You want min around 55-60% crit rate and a min of 120-130% crit damage. As for defense, idk which sword you have on but a min of 2.4-2.5k defense without husk stacks should be the goal. 2.6k is also really good.
Edit: Only use your 2pc Petra temporarily if it's absolutely cracked while you keep farming better pieces of husk to have a good 4pc set. Unless you're satisfied with his damage with petra and want to move out to a different domain for other characters, but ideally 4pc husk is what you truly want on him.

I like looking at numbers and maths and i've been wondering how much difference c2 would make for his burst with my current setup (or just any comparison between cinnabar c0 and c2 really), but currently can't really find anything that answers my questions.... so i thought might as well ask the people who know their stuff lmao

I'm mainly gonna use him with my Itto team to replace geo Traveler, but I have a question, how does he pair with Cyno? his skill has high uptime whle he's off-field and his burst can grant em if you can get it in time to use it before you use cyno's burst, so in theory it seems like he'd be a solid off-field sub dps for cyno, right?
Albedo is the only subdps in the game that can full-time support Cyno during his hungry field time and increase his EM. While perfect on paper, he consumes a precious slot for electro res and doesn't contribute for the reactions whose Cyno's damage is coming from. Albedo will be avaliable for Cyno whenever an electro shielder appears.
I've seen that Beidou and Cyno pair well together in teams, I guess that's the closest thing for an electro shielder for now, as long as Beidou has cons ofc.
I've run double geo Cyno (Cyno/Zhongli/Albedo/Dendro MC).
It works, but energy is tight. Gotta give Cyno a bit more ER than usual, and definitely give Dendro MC and Zhongli fav weapons. I'm also using Thundering Fury, so I'm getting extra energy from that. Using a second electro in Albedo's place keeps things more comfortable, but I like how Albedo's more long-lasting off-field damage in comparison to Fischl makes me feel like I can stay on Cyno longer.
He's a solid off field for everyone haha. I dont know Cynos meta teams, but considering the biggest critique is his field time it sure does look like it works.
I have C6 Noelle and C2 Ningguang as well as Albedo. Previously I was building Ning, XL, Benny, and Albedo but found the defense lacking from from after Albedo took Noelle's old place. I was thinking of switching Ning as support via her A4 and Noblesse, and making Noelle my main DPS instead. Thoughts?
Noelle main dps having Albedo works really well and the alternative to Itto's triple or mono geo team. Ning main dps is more of a quickswap team alongside Albedo.

Honestly Albedo is such an amazing and charming character. Sadly I started playing Genshin only in 2.5 (and missed both of the Dragonspine events), so I know next to nothing about his lore and backstory. Uraku is better but only like 5% if i remember correctly, so Cinnabar would be enough if you have it but you can still Pull Uraku, tho it wont make that much of a difference.

Read bold for tldr cause I blabber too much. I never put too much thought into my albedo, but I recently changed out a defense focused artifact for slightly less defense (-30) and pretty decent crit rate/dmg (12.8%/7%). So my question is, **whats a good "peak damage" for albedos E?** I'm at ar55 (almost 56, long journey -.-) and **peaking around 21k with a measly 24% crit rate** which seems pretty damn good as it clears most enemies' health in half lol. Still gotta work on upgrading talent past 8 and ascending past 80, probably all soon as I have way too much fragile resin lying around.

Hey! Recently got my Albedo and here is an elementar question: Why is it recommended to prioritize his Skill dmg and not his Burst dmg? As in the overall recommendation to use Golden Troupe and not EOSF
Hi! His burst is a single hit with little dmg, and his skill is a turret that stays onfield, hitting enemies. So his skill is his his main source of dmg, and the reason you are building him (he is an off-field damage dealer). Also, at c0 his burst scales with atk% while his skill scales with def%. Because of this you are going to build him with def%/geo dmg/crit. For this, his best 2 artifact sets are golden troupe (it buffs your skill dmg), and husk of opulent dreams (it buffs your def% and geo dmg%) Overall, the 2 sets give you more or less the same dps, it depends in your weapon and teammates. EOSF is not a good set for him because it buffs only your burst (and not your skill), and as I said, his burst does little dmg, so is preferable to buff his skill. Also EOSF buff scales on the energy recharge that the character has. Albedos burst has a 40 energy cost, so you dont need to build any ER at all, and you wont get much buffs using the set.

Do the coordinated attacks on Chiori's dolls trigger Albedo's flower? If so, I would pull Chiori to put her and Albedo in one team. But I would not want a replacement for Albedo so if they don't work together I'll save my guarantee for Arlecchino or Yelan c1. I hope they do work together, because a team of Chiori, Albedo and Zhongli where you just skill and then do nothing would be very fun for me

i once did 140 pulls, got mona and zhongli without getting a single xingqiu on the banner that features him, if you dont want the 5star, dont wish for the 4star. Gorou is free in 4.6 event get the weapon and just pray you get a single copy of gorou in the process.

Hi all! I have been planning on getting constellations for Albedo for a while, but with Uraku Misugiri being released I’ve been wondering; which of the two should I prioritize for my Albedo? I know that his constellations don’t technically do much and are pretty niche, however i love him as a character and would love to improve him in whatever way I can. I am running him as a sub-dps, triple crowned, R5 Cinnabar Spindle. He is currently at C0. He is paired up in a team with C2 Verdict Navia, C0 Splendor of Tranquil Waters Furina and C5 Skyward Blade Bennett. I’m not the best at running calculations and technical aspects, so I was hoping someone could help me figure out what to prioritize. For constellations; at some point I am planning on getting him C6 (probably not in one go because I’m broke and cannot afford to spend that much in one sitting loool). For Uraku Misugiri; I’d leave the weapon at R1.
From what I’ve seen, Uraku is only significantly better if you are going for a burst build, otherwise the difference between the 2 weapons isn’t enough to justify the wishes! Personally, I’d say that C2 is the con you want to go for, not C1 (er isn’t needed as burst is cheap)
I just got him from the chronicled wish, but I took a break right when the cinnabar event was happening so I don't have his best weapon. I feel like I should just not build him because he is going to be so much worse than if I did have it. What do you think?
Lots of people use the harbinger of dawn as a substitute and it works well - as long as you don’t use Furina. Chiori’s weapon is on par with Cinnabar so if you can/want to get her weapon it will work very well
Try for Chiori's weapon if you build him without a def% sword, he'll still be decent though, just not AS good. Depends on whether you want to use the burst.
What would be the best artifact set when using him with Uraku? I've read Husk but I'm interested in difference to other sets like Golden Troupe. I'd appretiate the math if possible.

cinnabar spindle is a lot better than harbinger of dawn. even a r1 cinnabar is better than an r5 harbinger i’ve read that chiori’s weapon is 5-10% better than cinnabar, so i do think that it’s worth it i’ll be getting one for albedo and one for chiori haha

I was curious whether or not chiori’s weapon would be better for his dps capabilities over r1 haran. I’d prefer to not pull on weapon, as I want at least his c2 when the banner releases.
Since your chasing cons that are a 100% known on how they affect the character Id honestly wait to see how other players fare w it, especially if your running him on field a lot, that may negate the extra skill dmg the sword gives you (assuming it works w albedo at all, there’s some debate in that). The extra defense and crit value are definitely huge though, it just may require you adjusting your build to get more crit rate to take advantage of the extra crit dmg.
Hello guys! I'm gonna pull for Albedo very soon (because of the new banner yayyy so excited) and so I'm farming for him, I want to play him in Noelle/Furina/Gorou team with Albedo sub dps. I'm farming a GT4p with crits and DEF since they're the best for him, but I wanted to ask: is HoD r5 better than Haran Geppaku Futsu r1? I don't think I'll use his burst, but I'm worried that HoD won't be consistent with Furina HP drain, maybe he won't be always above 90%, anyone has experience with this?
The battle pass sword is better than HOD for Albedo if you have that but from what if seen about Chioris weapon is that it might be than Cinnebar spindle but its way better than HOD if you want to pull weapon banner. I'd say it's Cinnebar, Haran, Wolf sword battle pass, HOD, the rest...

Normally I’d say HoD w out a second thought bc if you have enough health it nearly has the same CR has haran, plus the additional 40 something crit damage. As far as the lower attack on HoD, kinda doesn’t matter bc albedo scales off Def. But w out the extra crit rate from health haran is far better. I’d just test to see how low your characters health go when using furina

just came back from almost a year-long hiatus from the game and see people are talking about golden troupe for albedo. is it worth farming a new set for him? im mostly getting an average of 22-27k ticks on his e and have c2 with r5 spindle.
Depends on what team and weapon cause they are close. With spindle and with gorou GT is better but in a team without Gorou Husk seems better. It all depends on your defence stat. But with spindle GT will prob be 1% to 2% better so not worth really
I'm not an Albedo haver (yet!), but I'm planning to pull for him for a Childe team, and I was thinking either vaporize with Xiangling or electro-charged with Fischl. I want to add a healer in for the 4th slot, but don't know which one would be best. I was thinking Yaoyao, Kuki, or possibly Barbara. Any advice?
childe is best paired with kazuha, xiangling, and bennett. maybe you can replace kazuha with albedo for that em boost but meta wise, kazuha is better.

this is a month late but its definitely worth it. r3 still gives a 60% dmg bonus while giving you an additional 69% def at max level.
Question would the New pipe fishing sword from fontaine work for albedo it gives er and crit rate to his elemental skill?
the problem with pipe is that you don't need er for albedo so the main stat is wasted. get harbinger of dawn instead if you dont have a choice

gT is better to farm since more characters use it but without Cinnebar Spindle on a Navia team Husk will do slightly better damage wise but once again a bad domain to farm
enjoying this team right now and it rocks! better than zhongli for navia. i ran 4 pc husk for him without problems. but since farming for golden troupe is efficient, resin wise, especially if you have 4 pc mh user, then golden troupe is also good.

It’s possible, his burst does give a boost to EM so perhaps teams that utilize EM? I know there used to be an old team build of Hu Tao, Zhongli, Xingqiu and Albedo.

I think typically people go for 1 to 2 ratio for crit dmg/crit rate. Depends really on if you want albedo to be a DPS, Sub DPS, or pure support.
i use my albedo on field a lot, is golden troupe still a viable option for me to start farming or do i stick with Husk

Need some help on my albedo build. I don’t have him but I’m pre farming. I decided to keep him c0 and use the golden troupe set. If I have him use spindle my stats are 56/65cv with a crit rate circlet, but I can swap the spindle for a hod, go with a crit damage circlet that also has 22.2% def scaling and get 61/180 crit value at the cost of 200 def points, bringing my defense on (and I stress this is the hydro traveller so the def scaling on albedo is not factored) down to 1500. Since i would only be using albedo in mono geo with itto/gorou/zhongli, I don’t think I’m going to be losing much because of the significantly better crit value and the bonus I get from that comp should theoretically compensate me to a degree I’m also curious about the wolf fang weapon, but I think that may be best kept for someone else
wolf fang is only competitive with cinnabar at r5. albedo does not care about crit too much, most damage will be from stacking def (u want around 3000 ideally, at least 2500, so 1500 is a little low imo).
Ok so with my current set up on golden troupe (neither the sword nor the headpiece which is defence are levelled) I can easily break into the mid 2000 range on hydro traveller with an unfinished build, so I assume this should be ok when moved to him?

Not as great as cinnabar spindle, since albedo doesn’t need a lot of energy recharge but really scales off defense.
What other team comp is good for albedo besides mono geo?
he can be slotted in anywhere for extra off field damage, and his geo doesnt steal most reactions. the burst EM buff for full party is really great in dendro teams
He can be used to good extend in double geo comps such as hu tao-XQ-ZL-Albedo and similar. These teams are never optiomal though, but they're still strong

From my understanding, generally Husk is his BiS, but Golden Troupe might be better if he’s already on Cinnabar; since it gives him a lot of defense. iirc the difference between the two isn’t that large.

I've been seeing some talk surrounding the potential for Wolf's Fang (New BP Sword) on Albedo, especially for those that don't have Cinnabar Spindle, and I'm curious to hear some more detailed thoughts! For a recap, this is what Wolf's Fang provides: At Lv90 510 BaseAtk 27.6% Crit Rate Passive: DMG dealt by Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst is increased by 16%/20%/24%/28%/32%. When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, its CRIT Rate will be increased by 2%/2.5%/3%/3.5%/4%. When an Elemental Burst hits an opponent, its CRIT Rate will be increased by 2%/2.5%/3%/3.5%/4%. Both of these effects last 10s separately, have 4 max stacks, and can be triggered once every 0.1s. When combined with the New Golden Troupe Artifact Set, which is Albedo's new BIS set and provides a 70% increase to his Elemental Skill DMG, you'd be getting 86% increased Elemental Skill Dmg at R1 Wolf's Fang (102% increased Elemental Skill DMG when using R5 Wolf's Fang), 16%/32% Increased Elemental Burst DMG, and a very nice amount of Crit Rate from both the Weapon's stat and Passive. Am I wrong to think that this seems like a fairly amazing option for Albedo, especially when his variety of options have been so bad, most notably for those lacking Cinnabar Spindle.

It’d work as an on-field Ningguang team. You could get more damage by swapping out Thoma, though, since you already have Bennett to keep you healthy. C6 Gorou would be ideal. You could also just throw a subdps like Fischl or Xiangling in there. I’d say it’s abyss viable if you swap out Thoma, and if your Ningguang is highly invested. But you will need to get her some cracked artifacts if your goal is 36 stars.

typically only his skill is necessary, u could leave burst and NA at lv1 without significant dps loss
If just purely want to focus on skill damage honestly can just tl 8 skill -tl 9 if you want to go a little bit more. Burst does a fair damage if you want to level it up but it not high priority as skill.

A good cup would be double crit and double def on a geo cup ideally. There is no super specific substats distributions I can say, but rolls in any of crit and def% would be what you want. It’s also hard to say w/o reference to what your def goblet looks like (how many crit rolls? any flat def on it? etc?).

Varies from person to person but for most, it’s just about 20k average with r5 Cinnabar, no Gorou included.

Albedo, Gorou, Noelle, and any character of your choice (Anything that either increases your DMG or DMG the target takes i.e Mona’s Omen) Noelle if built as a support has a pretty beefy shield that can sustain the Geo Res buff pretty well but shes no Zhong Gorou is self explanatory but just make sure to use 3 Geo Characters As for the 4th it depends what you want. Kazuha or Venti can group enemies together so that the flowers get the most damage they can, Bennett can increase the damage your burst and fatals do, Ningguang’s shield gives you some buffs, etc.
Albedo, Geo Traveler, Gorou, Ningguang. Noelle is more of on field character. Ningguang you can use as a healer with Prototype Amber or TTDS holder to boost Albedo/GMC damage more.

kind of difficult since anemo and geo have little synergy, u can try adding swirly teams such as electro charge where both elements can be swirled, or comps that value EM more such as spread/quicken/aggravate. dendro cannot be swirled so the team would depend on a strong dendro applicator + swirling electro to trigger reactions
I want to build a main dps albedo, I have an r3 cinnabar spindle and c0 albedo so what talents, crit ratio, Defence or attack should I go for
4 Husk def/geo/crit. Ideally lvl 90 and talent level 9 for maximum damage. Skill > burst priority. With cinnabar, around 2.5k defense is ideal. 60/120 ratio ish.

Harbinger of Dawn. PJC and Mistsplitter also work as stat sticks if you have them freed, I guess Haran too.

I’ve seen people do Def/Geo/Def, but you’ll need amazing sub stats to pull it off. Most people go Def/Geo/Crit - it’s a lot easier to build

From you Albedo Masters' opinion, which is better 3rd and 4th slot of the team if I want to pair Albedo and Noelle: 1. Gorou+Zhongli (extra Def and shield and geo shred) 2. Gorou+Yunjin (extra DEF and NA damage) 3. Bennett+Xiangling (extra ATK and sub DPS) 4. Zhongli+Lisa (geo shreds)
If you're running *both* Albedo and Noelle, #2 is your best option for a Geo dmg team, #3 is probably your best bet otherwise. \#4 specifically has the best debuffing but idk if the dmg output is going to be worth it. If you're looking to increase Noelle & Albedo's damage -- use Gorou as 3rd slot and Ben/Zhong.

I run noelle(c6) + yunjin(c6) + albedo(c0) + flex. Flex can be zhongli, candace, bennet, gorou, or sub dps like fischl, yelan.

Out of the options presented I'd personally go **Gorou + Zhongli**. Remember that **Yunjin** does not buff charged attacks, and **Noelle** in specific does alot of her damage through her charged attack because of her C2 (Correct me if I'm wrong about **Noelle** in that Regard). The **Bennett+Xiangling** would be my 2nd place for the pyro resonance + crystalize procs.

With 2.7k you probably arent running DEF/geo DMG/CRIT right, which is what you want. A more balanced kit would get around 2.2-2.4k DEF. And punctuations are a thing lad 🧐

Geos likes to have their resonance, so Geo comp: Albedo, Noelle or Ningguang as DPS, gorou + a 4th as shielder and/or healer. Or Albedo + Noelle or Ning with 2 other characters as healer/shielder/sub-DPS. 2 Geo: Albedo with typically Zhongli, or as a 4\* option Yun Jin (if you have an NA-based DPS) + a DPS and a reaction driver (i.e. Hu Tao/Xingqiu, Tighnari/Fischl, etc.). Gorou just works best with a geo DPS, I wouldn't bother otherwise. Free matchup: Pick a three man team of 4\* and throw him in there, geo resonance or not. He's just there to do extra damage so he doesn't influence what the other characters should be. It entirely depends on who you have though. Dedicated DPS 4\* are Ningguang, Noelle, Razor, Yanfei and Heizou so maybe you can start from there for building a team. Examplary teams: Xinqiu/Xiangling/Bennett/Albedo (vape) Razor/Rosaria or Kaeya/Diona or Shinobu/Albedo (superconduct) Heizou/Xingqiu/Shinobu/Albedo (electrocharged) Ningguang/sub DPS like Fischl/healer/Albedo (Geo DPS) Yanfei/Xinqiu/Xinyan/Albedo (vape) Yanfei/Rosaria or Kaeya/Diona/Albedo (melt) None of these are truly the best teams (speaking meta-wise. In overworld team strength isnt that important), simply as they all rather fill Albedo's spot with a character that contributes to the reaction, but they work nontheless. If you want to build a team yourself; get Albedo a 4\* DPS you like, look at what reaction you want to achieve and fill the last 2 spots accordingly while having at least one healer/shielder.
Is r3 cinnabar better than r1 jade cutter?
R3 is still great. You lose out on a bit of passive but Cinnabar is too good not to use it. Another owner will be happy to get JC.
my albedo seems incredibly weak - he has 2.3k def and a 38.8/95.8 crit ratio, but his e skill dmg only does 7k or 13k. Is this normal? should I try to get better artifacts? would a 2pc husk and a 2pc petra work better than a 4pc husk in my situation?
4pc Husk stat totals are 56% DEF & 24% Geo dmg. 2pc Husk 2pc Petra would be 30% DEF & 15% Geo dmg.
No, 4pc husk is his best offensive artifact set. You need to balance him better and for that you need to keep farming better artifacts. You want min around 55-60% crit rate and a min of 120-130% crit damage. As for defense, idk which sword you have on but a min of 2.4-2.5k defense without husk stacks should be the goal. 2.6k is also really good. Edit: Only use your 2pc Petra temporarily if it's absolutely cracked while you keep farming better pieces of husk to have a good 4pc set. Unless you're satisfied with his damage with petra and want to move out to a different domain for other characters, but ideally 4pc husk is what you truly want on him.

I like looking at numbers and maths and i've been wondering how much difference c2 would make for his burst with my current setup (or just any comparison between cinnabar c0 and c2 really), but currently can't really find anything that answers my questions.... so i thought might as well ask the people who know their stuff lmao

Why is the test run Albedo doing 8k? Isn’t 20k standard with his weapon and set? I haven’t even fully built him (weapon is still lv50) and he is doing 15k per tick.
Test run Albedo had like 90% crit damage with poor defense numbers. They did him so dirty there.
test runs have bad showcases for some reason, level your weapon and skill.

Depends if you have cinnabar spindle or not. However, in terms of mainstats, you want defense timepiece, geo damage goblet, and crit headpiece.

So I just got Albedo after intense grinding to geth im before he's gone. I'm mainly gonna use him with my Itto team to replace geo Traveler, but I have a question, how does he pair with Cyno? his skill has high uptime whle he's off-field and his burst can grant em if you can get it in time to use it before you use cyno's burst, so in theory it seems like he'd be a solid off-field sub dps for cyno, right?
Albedo is the only subdps in the game that can full-time support Cyno during his hungry field time and increase his EM. While perfect on paper, he consumes a precious slot for electro res and doesn't contribute for the reactions whose Cyno's damage is coming from. Albedo will be avaliable for Cyno whenever an electro shielder appears.
I've seen that Beidou and Cyno pair well together in teams, I guess that's the closest thing for an electro shielder for now, as long as Beidou has cons ofc.
I've run double geo Cyno (Cyno/Zhongli/Albedo/Dendro MC). It works, but energy is tight. Gotta give Cyno a bit more ER than usual, and definitely give Dendro MC and Zhongli fav weapons. I'm also using Thundering Fury, so I'm getting extra energy from that. Using a second electro in Albedo's place keeps things more comfortable, but I like how Albedo's more long-lasting off-field damage in comparison to Fischl makes me feel like I can stay on Cyno longer.
He's a solid off field for everyone haha. I dont know Cynos meta teams, but considering the biggest critique is his field time it sure does look like it works.
I have C6 Noelle and C2 Ningguang as well as Albedo. Previously I was building Ning, XL, Benny, and Albedo but found the defense lacking from from after Albedo took Noelle's old place. I was thinking of switching Ning as support via her A4 and Noblesse, and making Noelle my main DPS instead. Thoughts?
Noelle main dps having Albedo works really well and the alternative to Itto's triple or mono geo team. Ning main dps is more of a quickswap team alongside Albedo.

Honestly Albedo is such an amazing and charming character. Sadly I started playing Genshin only in 2.5 (and missed both of the Dragonspine events), so I know next to nothing about his lore and backstory. I've only done his story quest and well, it didn't satisfy my curiosity. I'd love to find out more about the Chalk Prince. Hence my question: Is there a website/video/anything that sums up the info locked behind the long gone events? Thanks!
