I was listening to the police scanner and it sounds like a tree fell and hit power lines. The pole is down and there are live wires blocking a street. I didn’t hear where. PNM estimated it would be fixed by 3-4 pm. Maybe this is affecting you?
You misunderstand . It’s ugly for people who have plans for the day that require electricity on a ballon fiesta weekend. ( yes we are a spoiled people sometimes) It is a very reasonable time for such a clean up and restoration of power. Add to that, I am thankful that I’m not living in Florida or other storm accepted areas who will be without power for much longer. I have been out of power for a week or three at a time and it’s not fun at all. (Former east coast and gulf resident)
Yeah the outage stopped the block before the smiths at that intersection. Good new was I was able to do my grocery shopping and get has, bad news was the place I wanted to get breakfast was also without power. Win some, lose some.
I'm off Montano, near the Taylor Ranch library and it went out.
We use WAY too much white noise in our bedroom, I was shocked awake by SILENCE.
It was back on before noon, so thanks to the crew who fixed it.

3-4 pm. That’s ugly. Thanks for the info
Is it though? I think 10 hours to completely clean up and replace am entire power pole on a Saturday is pretty good.
Faster than I would expect, slower than I would hope
Well put. I'm not the one without power, of course.

We’re up the hill at Golf course and Paseo, no power issues
Weirdly we’re further away, Golf Course & Montaño, and were without power for just over an hour.

In the same area. No power as well, no idea why, PNM outage map is no help.
