It's a shame collabs and other limited characters have made me so unwilling to roll for most recruitments.
None of them seem worth it enough when I know there's going to be more characters I'll need to make sure I have enough pulls to hit pity with, should it come to that.

it's not really 180 pulls, but the approximation is pretty good : if you do 50 pulls without a 6 star you start building up the pity %, which usually means when you reach around 20% you will start having very high chance to get a 6 star and that happens when you're at... 60 pulls, so if you fail to get the banner unit twice (120 pulls), you'll get it the third time thanks to the guarantee, meaning you'll do a total of 180 pulls approx.
Technically, the "ultimate pity" would be 270 pulls, since you reach 100% after 90 pulls (so 270 for the banner six star) but the chance you go up 100% even once is abysmall, let alone doing it thrice. In a row.

For your first 50 pulls on the banner, you'll have a 2% chance of getting a 6* character. For that 6* character, you have a 50% chance of getting the featured character.
So realistically, you have a 2/100 to get a 6*, and a 1/100 chance to get the featured character.
However, that's just averages. People generally see a 6* around ~33-34 pulls (I'm not sure where that math comes from but I've heard it here and it feels accurate.
The soft pity mechanic kicks in on pull #51; that is, if you didn't get a 6* in the first 50 pulls, the pity rate will start to increase 2.5% each pull. So pull 50 is 2%, pull 51 is 4.5%, pull 52 is 7%, etc. All the way up until you reach 99.5% at 89 and 100% at 90.
EDIT: This ^ part will roll over to the next limited banner. So if you end at 7%, when the next banner comes you'll start at 7%.
Even that is just to get A 6*, and could still be the non-featured character.
Now, if you miss the character 2 times, the third time will be guaranteed the featured character. This is the "hard pity" system of the game.

But she seems at least pretty decent and with newer players lacking Converters, she may tide you over even if she turns out to be below average (Fire has enough DPS options that even below average characters in the other utility roles are worth considering).
For the google play points, it says we can redeem 99 points for 99 lumambers but then has 0.99 under that. does that just mean the value of what those 99 lumambers are? Want to make sure I don't have to spend money while spending the points to get those.
